Does anyone have any idea what would cause this? Could this be from a proxy issue? This is an editor map on an internal only server.

Ok... So I have deleted the App from WAB. I have taken the old MXD, which had multiple layers added because this was used to power our current Flex map version, and removed everything BUT the permit layers. I have saved this modified MXD with a different name. I have created a NEW REST Service from this MXD. I downloaded the newest version of eSearch. I have added the eSearch widget. I tried to add the feature layer from our ArcGIS Server : http://maps.cityoftulsa.org/gis/rest/services/JSAPI/extPermits_Final/MapServer/0 Here is the error I get. Load widgetOnScreen: 311.699ms

None. It just stops working. I put a sandbox version up to test and you can see... when you click on eSearch EVERY search should be UNIQUE but they default to a Value entry that doesn't even work? http://maps.cityoftulsa.org/sandbox/permits/

Layer: Building (ID: 0) So when I add this layer to Robert Scheitlin, GISP's esearch widget... and I set the following attributes... Spatial Search : Check Allow CSV Export : Check Add Result as Operational Layer : Check Use Popup from : Webmap Then I set the Expression to search by Acct_Num and I select UNIQUE... It spins, even in settings. Nothing I do releases that spinney wheel. Any ideas?

So I've got an MXD. It has a layer in it that I have turned on in the MXD to display always. I added the REST Service into an AGOL layer I just created for it. But when I go to Visualizations tab... the layer doesn't show. BUT if I 'ADD TO MAP' then layer is introduced BUT it is not checked so it's not visible. How do I default a layer to visible in an AGOL Layer?

So I'm thinking rather than re-invent the wheel I would see what others have concocted (or are using) that allows their organization to manage Permits. We have a permitting database but it's not GIS friendly and we are building a LIVE Permit Map... well, I am... and I need to work with our DB guys and develop a schema to use. We will port in the data hourly and TRUNCATE and APPEND in order to go from Oracle to our SQL Server GIS DB. I'm looking for any preconstructed schemas for permitting so I can see what people are using that work already. I REALLY wish the LGM had a Permitting section.

We discovered that ESRI Shape fields have to be at the bottom of the list. If the Shape fields are in front of ANY OTHER FIELDS then those fields will NOT be visible or editable. Apparently, AGOL can't process an ESRI specific field for some reason.

So I have an MXD that is like this... When I publish this as a REST Service and dump the WHOLE GROUPED LOT of Features (Parcels and Lines) with the Labelled features from the MXD then I get this... BUT... if I try to grab just the individual layers with labels and display them... Using this REST Service : Layer: Lot Numbers (ID: 3) As you can see... I get nothing. I'm confused and frustrated...

I was shocked that this wasn't already available... Labeling seems to be a halfway step... but without being able to rotate based on a field? Fairly worthless with Parcel dimensions... ugh.

I came in to work today and discovered that all webmaps were stopped. http://maps.cityoftulsa.org/gis/rest/services That URL is NOT supposed to be Forbidden? http://maps.cityoftulsa.org/MapGallery/ Those are our maps. None work... Our ArcGIS Server is clustered and our INTERNAL maps are working fine... But all of the Externals are broken. Any ideas?

Got it! I had to wrap the on(this.clearGraphics...) piece like so... //Setup button click handlers
this.own(on(this.clearGraphics, "click", lang.hitch(this, function() {
if (this.map) {
this.map.graphics.clear();
}
}))); It works now.

So when I visit http://<mycomputername>.main.domainname.org:3344/webappviewer/?config=sample-configs/config-demo.json I get the widget working just fine. BUT... If I put the Widget INTO a Web Map using WAB then I get this... I'm lost... it was working fine... and then it stopped. Nothing changed in the code... it just stopped. I've added the widget in a ZIP file.
