Glad that worked for you. Additional thought: Have you run portalScan and serverScan? These are in the tools folders at your Poral and Server installed location. Here's the default location on a Windows server Todd

Yes, Map Viewer Beta is available for deployment to Enterprise 10.8.1. The installer should be in your My Esri account depending on your support model with Esri. We have deployed Map Viewer Beta to our Enterprise 10.8.1 environments. Took about 20 minutes per Enterprise stack on our extra large Windows OS physical servers. Working as advertised so far. One enhancement I'd like to see is the ability to set the default map Viewer in Enterprise just like you can now do in AGOL. I posted an idea about this in the AGOL ideas forum 2021-04-22. Your question about web app builder is a good one. I don't know and have the same question. My publishers have yet to create an app from a map created in Map Viewer Beta. Todd

Please add functionality to ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8.1 to permit Administrator to select Primary Map Viewer if Map Viewer (Beta) has been deployed.

Oh. No. you can't edit the zipped FGDB following the procedure I outlined. In mobile apps, the data writer must do so to a "pass through" EGDB with correct permission settings or a hosted feature layer (aka EGDB hosting in ArcGIS Data store.

Hello, Suggest Share a web feature layer 1st. Here's a suggestion. In your ArcGIS Pro project map, in the contents, highlight all the layers you want to group in one service, select Share, Web layer, Publish Web layer. Looks like this when you are done. Of course, my example is a hosted feature layer, but your referenced service should look the same.

Why yes. Just a few minutes ago, I ended a support call with one of my Portal users for the exact same problem. No solution yet. My environment: ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8.1 base Windows server 2016 [Server x1 (Federated, Hosting), Portal x1, Data Store x1 (relational)]. All Esri patches applied. Note: The user reporting the problem is in a custom Role with most, but not all, publisher permissions. All our staff users that are Administrator role members can see the app in Chrome.

Our organization has also discovered this limitation and has engaged Esri through our Enterprise Advantage Program (EAP) Team. Answer back. You are correct. An AGOL Organization must act as collaboration host and this AGOL organization can only host one collaboration. No clear answer as to why this limitation exists. This limitation most certainly is inhibiting unscripted "out of the box" Portal to multiple AGOL organization data sharing and AGOL to AGOL data sharing. Suggest this thread be moved to ideas/enhancements. Then we can all thumb it up and influence change. Idea: In both ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS On Line, permit definition of multiple collaborations as host and/or guest.

We've seen similar errors, although not exactly the same, as the number of services have grown in our environment [ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8.1 hosted on physical Windows server 2012R2, 2x server, 1x portal, 1x relational data store]. We implemented changes detailed in Esri Technical Article and Microsoft Registry Heap Size resulting in system stability improvement.

Confirmed again. Problem unresolved and still exists in Enterprise 10.8.1 with all patches applied as of 2021-03-31. What we need is a updatesslcertificatewithsamealias.bat or removecertificate.bat Esri. At least update the documentation to include the solution in this thread.

In a web browser on Machine02, what happens if you go to https://Machine02FQDN:7443/arcgis/sharing/rest/generateToken . If the UI returns and you enter user name, password and selected IP Address of this request's origin option, is a token generated? Are all of your component connectivity URL constructs between Portal(s), Server(s), DataStores(s) using FQDN?

Presuming your ArcGIS Enterprise deployment includes Portal based on existence of Hosted folder in your screen capture of server manager? To achieve your goal, federate your Server to Portal and authenticate your users in Portal. Then you may take advantage of finer grain access control afforded by user type, role and groups. Even though your users may see the folder, they will be presented with sign in dialog if they try to access a folder that contains limited access content. If the content is not shared with that named user, they'll either be denied access to the folder or see an empty folder after sign in. href, https://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/portal/latest/administer/windows/roles.htm NOTICE: If you follow this method and define a custom role with one or more administrative permissions, then users assigned to this role WILL have access to all services.
