Great new update.  Love the inbox feature.   Going to be thinking about all the ways we could use the inbox for a while.  Hydrant inspections!  Might not need to use a separate web app to trigger surveys any more. What about only allowing field workers to use the Inbox?  Only allow editing and not addition of surveys? Is there any doco on what is possible in the Where expression?  A little experimentation with date queries has not been successful. ... View more

According to the KML documentation the web map refresh rates on KML layers are honoured. KML—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS  I'm not entirely sure that's the case.  I've got a KML that's refreshing on our web server every minute and the layer in the web map is set to refresh every minute.  So at worst you'd expect something like a 2 minute refresh.  As far as I can see that's not the case.  I suppose it could be my browser caching or firewall caching, but Google Earth sees the changes so it's all a little unclear. Thanks Carmel, I was thinking more along the lines of modifying the report that is available on the Survey123 Dashboard.   I can imagine it's something ESRI will eventually make available to modify, but just in case there is some method already available that would be great. Could be timing out through our firewalls???  The file geodatabase downloaded was 2GB.  Maybe keeping up the web connection while it exports the fgdb then waiting for the process to start downloading was too long? ... View more

Our users are likely to use Survey123 anywhere in the world with very little notice. Even our every day use covers the whole of Queensland, Australia, so there is no way we can build offline tpks that cover the entire area. The Collector workflow has worked with our mobile workers, where they know to download an area before heading out.  They're mapping fires from aircraft and it can be in an unpopulated area miles from any town. Survey123 Damage Assessment will be for urban or semi-rural areas with a possibility of the mobile network being damaged or not working.  They are sometimes deployed overseas (within 24hrs) where we will not have any mapping besides what is available from ESRI Inc.   ... So it's foreseeable that the mobile workers will get a DIY offline basemap creation like Collector??   If nothing else, that will tick the box for the ongoing sticking point with our guys, if it's a future feature. ... View more

We use Survey123 for Fuel Hazard Assessment and will be using it shortly for Damage Assessments (after having used ArcPad and ArcGIS Mobile on Trimbles since 2008).  Converting DA forms into ArcPad and ArcGIS Mobile has always been a difficult process (e.g. multi-choice). Some of our international teams use Kobo, so it's nice to be able transfer forms between Survey123 and Kobo with not too much work. ... View more
