Shwu-jing Jeng, while I agree that is one option, it isn't exactly the same behavior as what the "javascript:void(0)" link does. If I try using that 'link', nothing happens. Where this has a difference is when the survey is embedded into another webpage. When the user clicks on "here" in the embedded survey, as far as I know the new survey opens within the same embedded page. If I add my own text and link to the same survey, it opens in a new window. Is there a way to make the survey open in the same parent target instead of a new tab or window?

Thanks for responding. I had someone else in my org try this out on his Android 9 phone and the same results happened. I will try making another survey with with single choice radio buttons to see if I get the same result. I will try this Monday. And if I am still having issues, I will share the survey publicly. I will let you know what I find out!

Ok, so there is no "fix" for this? This is just how it will be?

I am making a survey in Survey123 and since it's long-ish, I have decided to incorporate pages. This is not working as intended. All I wanted was two pages but I am getting three. In my web designer, this is what I see: Clearly, it should be two pages. But when I open the survey on its own, this is the first thing I see: It gives me an extra page with zero content. It's not a deal breaker but pretty weird behavior... Has anyone else seen this? This happens in the field app (android) as well as the web browser (I am using Chrome). Thanks!

Hi, I am on an Android device using Survey123 app from a survey created from the web designer. It is a simple survey with nothing special. There are a few Single Choice options in my survey that I cannot tap on in the app. Nothing happens when I tap on them. I tried making the single choice options vertical, horizontal, and horizontal compact, and still nothing happens. These single choice options are sometimes just two values but other times are up to six values. This works in a web browser, but not the Survey123 application. Does anyone have any ideas on how to make my single choice options work? Some of these questions are required so I cannot submit my survey when these are not answered. I am not sure what version of Survey123 android app I am on but it was just installed yesterday, so I guess the latest! Please help! Thanks!

In the serial chart widget in ArcGIS Dashboards, the only values represented are from existing features. I would like to be able to have a 'blank', or zero, value for features in the serial chart. Typically, these values would pull from a domain (or a drop-down list) of potential features. For an example, this is how my serial chart looks now, filtered, to show two values: If I wanted to add a third value that had no features, I would like for it to look something like this: Which I know is a bad drawing but hopefully you get the idea! Here is the original thread that discusses this: https://community.esri.com/thread/255547-including-blank-values-for-a-serial-chart-in-dashboard

Derek, Thanks for the reply. This is the link for the web map: https://www.arcgis.com/home/webmap/viewer.html?webmap=5fb6211052a5476c96d2dd412741563f And this is the link for the dashboard: ArcGIS Dashboards The map is showing parcels in Utah that are going through the right of way process. They are signified by two categories, a "stage" and a "status" which are hierarchical. The map has two layers that are symbolized by these attributes - the parcels (called ownerships), which are larger land ares are symbolized by the stage (and only has like 5 colors). And then when you zoom in far enough, those turn off and the "takes" turn on which are symbolized by the "status" and has more than 5 colors (maybe like 15?). Both layers have basically the same fields as each other. Anyways, the dashboard is getting a count of all the records that fall into a certain stage on one side and ideally, we wanted to show a bar graph (serial chart) of all the statuses on the other side, including zero values. Both these fields are in 'domains'. I hope that makes sense. Thanks!

Well, it sounds like this is where this might have to end since I do not think there is a real solution for this (at least I do not know of one). Thank you for replying and explaining.

Hi, I am using the serial chart widget in a dashboard and while it is easy to bring in values of existing features, I want to show all in my domain, even if it is blank. That might not make sense.I'll try to include a screenshot. In my two serial charts on the right, for the above one, I want to show the 'roadway design' and another bar, but that other bar needs to have zero (0) for its value. Same for the bottom chart - I want to add one more attribute with a zero value so users will know it's there. Is that possible? It seems that I can add as many categories as I want but it the category has zero features, then it won't show. Am I missing a check box somewhere that says "show even if it has zero features"? Thanks in advance. Tagging the dashboard mastermind Derek Law

Hi, I created a survey in Survey123 web designer. It has a geopoint location question and it's zoomed to a particular level. Though, sometimes when someone opens it fresh, it's zoomed to the world view. Screenshot of my web designer with point question: But this is what user's see sometimes: They should be seeing this: A refresh solves the problem but I don't want to have to have people refreshing the survey who are new to it - I need it to work the first time. What am I doing wrong? I have seen this behavior in Google Chrome but haven't seen it in Firefox... Here is a link to the survey: https://arcg.is/baHWn (please do not fill out the data, haha). Thanks for your help, James Tedrick!

I am using the web design form (not Survey123 Connect) and I have two questions. How do I change this text: "Press here to submit another survey."? If that's not possible, how do I use the link of the "here" word in my thank you screen? I tried the "javascript:void(0)" link but that did not work. Thanks!
