I wish it was as simple as opening popups in the way they are layered. Though, it will be a good idea to train your boss how to use these types of maps and get familiar using the 'next' arrow. I have a a feeling that this won't be the last map that you will use to present!

Thanks for sharing the map. I can click on the parcel and get it to pop up the data. Though, like you said, the buffer is on top of it. Clicking the next arrow will show me the parcel data. This might be a little training thing you might have to do with the people presenting this map (showing them the arrow). According to this thread, there is no way to change the order in which the popups come, unfortunately: How can I change the order of popups on an ArcGIS Online Map

Have you tried looking into the student editions? ArcGIS for Desktop Student Trial I am not sure that this will be the correct software or not but it may be worth looking into.

When does your month change over? That's a great question and I am curious to see what will happen! If you were taking the Geo-Apps MOOC, they mentioned that if you did go over your allotment due to testing out the geo-apps and such, that you could tell them and they could possibly help you out with giving you some more to 'tide you over' for the next month. I can't find that message anywhere now, but I remember that being mentioned somewhere...

Just to ask the obvious question, is it possible that when you click on the parcel under the buffer that it is still being identified but you might have to hit the next arrow? Can you share your map with us?

You can't really concatenate fields in ArcGIS Online, unfortunately. This will need to happen at the desktop level, likely. It may work for you to use one of your text fields as a number field in order to symbolize it the way you want in AGOL.

Hmmm, that's a good point. I was hoping that would be an easy fix but I guess the documentation does not state where or how to change it, unfortunately. Sorry about that. This might require a support inquiry to Esri.

It says so in the documentation of 10.3 Portal for ArcGIS Server Extension | Overview Portal for ArcGIS, which is included with ArcGIS for Server Standard and Advanced, provides the same great experience as ArcGIS Online but within your infrastructure (on-premises or in the cloud). ...but that doesn't mention Workgroup... So I am not sure.

Dan, that is interesting because the documentation in that link shows it as caps: However, further down below, it has Shape like you listed: That would be nice if it were as easy as a case-sensitive issue... Let's hope!

There was an update recently made to ArcGIS Online where users can now log in via their Facebook or Google+ accounts. This may make it easier for people to see maps. What's new—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS Also, if your data is shared via a Map Service through ArcGIS for Server, I believe you can secure that one service and put a password on it. Some info here: ArcGIS Server web services—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS I haven't done this myself so I am not exactly sure how to do this. But, with this secure service, anyone with the password can view the map and they do not need an esri account.
