I guess I should specify that I was using Chrome (incognito) and using an account that was created for me via Esri (from one of their MOOCs). I decided to log into Firefox and use my actual organization account and received the same error message:

Since this is a wiki and can be edited whenever, it's probably best to copy and paste screenshot evidence of the "current" ArcGIS version....

Hi Pau, Can you mention which web application you are using in this configuration set up? Some of the out-of-the-box configurable we apps have limitations in order to make them easier to use, such as the Map Tools app http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=c8a6885c0fe94ee78d9ce08d207b10cd You may want to choose a different configurable web app or build your own (using Web AppBuilder or digging into the JavaScript, etc.).

Hi Chantelle, It's funny that there isn't much listed in terms of documentation for the "attach code" button. Take a look at this: Item details—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS Towards the bottom it says: Attach code to apps You can attach code (as a ZIP file) with your apps. This can be helpful if you are sharing a sample or a configurable app and want others to have access to your code. Click Attach Code and browse to the location of your code (as a ZIP file). To update a code attachment without resetting the download counter on the item, use Update Code and upload a ZIP file with the same name as the original ZIP file. If you want to attach a new file, first delete the existing file; then use Attach Code. This will reset the download count on the item.

I think it's a great idea to have a way to dig up the old forums. Should this be on "ideas"? Or is minor harassment on GeoNet enough?

Wow, interesting. I suppose if you went to another browser things worked so the main difference was the Ad Block Plus? I wonder why this is causing a problem since there aren't any ads in AGOL (maybe the ad blocker is picking up on something that it shouldn't be?).

Marcus, I am glad to know that your issue is resolved. Did you get a new download link or did you just contact someone at NPS? Either way, can you post your solution here (or at least how you arrived at your solution)?

Nathan, I would second what Dan mentioned. I am not sure you can use matlab in ModelBuilder. Even going the Python route seems a little complicated. I tried looking some resources up but did not find much: MATLAB Engine API for Python - MATLAB & Simulink (not sure about this one) This is a research paper that uses Python, Matlab, R, ArcGIS, etc, though I do not have access to view this paper so I am not sure how deep they go into how they integrated it all: Marine Geospatial Ecology Tools: An integrated framework for ecological geoprocessing with ArcGIS, Python, R, MATLAB, an…

Eninna, I created an application following the steps from the blog you listed. I did this in the FireFox browser. When I got to this step: I clicked on Save and then on View. In my screen afterwards, there is a place for me to sign in to Twitter: Do you see this part? After I click on the blue link, I can sign into Twitter.
