I am having an issue with the definition query (and label class expression) of my roads features. Background: The roads are created and edited in ArcMap 10.8.x on ArcGIS Server 10.6.1.9270 and exported to a 10.8.x server for use in ArcGIS Pro. I tested this in Pro 3.1 and 3.2. I also exported the feature class to a file geodatabase and had the same results. The Class field contains NULL, empty, EMER, H20, CTY, etc. If I do any SQL Query on the Class field I have to include CLASS IS NULL in the query for those features to appear. For example: CLASS IS NULL Or CLASS NOT IN ('EMER', 'H2O') instead of CLASS NOT IN ('EMER', 'H2O') We plan on populating that field with LOCAL into the future, but if anyone else is having an issue with definition queries not working as expected, check your fields for NULL values. When you first create a site/hub, there are a few default images that pop up on that home page. It would be nice to have a selection of "generic" images in a directory that we can link to as url sources. For example the default image for the home page links to the city skyline asset through this URL. I would like to know what images are in there for our use, and it would also be nice to have a curated selection of images that we could use similar to the icon library. I am currently trying to create a training hub on our Portal and it would be nice to add images like these to our training gallery.    ... View more

I would like to be able to retain a map extent among maps in Atlas. Use case: Looking at developing an app to help the planners with processing land divisions. We have a report template that we use that has sections based on elevation, environmental conditions, soil, municipal/sewer boundaries, etc. There would be maps for each section of the report. The planner could zoom to the parcel and switch maps without having to relocate the original parcel for each map. I realize I could add layers, but that isn't a good process either as each section has multiple layers it needs for the report. ... View more

I had someone reach out to me because they were unable to run the new app I made with the Sidebar Instant App. I did the standard recommendations of clearing cache, rebooting, checking browser and versions, etc. after they were able to open it on their phone. We were unable to get anywhere with it and she said she would work with the service provider.  Now the service provider wants me to call/email them to help them figure out what's going on. It looks like a smaller provider. I don't even know what question to ask or advice to get from here. I can't even begin to figure out what/how the Instant Apps work to help trouble shoot anything. Should I direct them to esri support? Should I open an esri support call? Is this a widespread problem? Is there anywhere I can direct them so they can figure out what's going on themselves? Is there something special about the Instant Apps that don't work with some aspect have how ISPs work? I just... what?! I just asked her to try to use the Public Notification app so I can see if it's all the Instant Apps or just the sidebar. I did build app in ExB and she can get that one to work. In the Sidebar Instant App Layer List Configuration, have newly added layers toggled ON by default. My thought process for this idea is that when people add a layer to a map, they assume it's going to be there when the map is saved. If someone is adding a layer that they know that they DON'T want to show up in the layer list, they will know they need to go turn it off in the configuration.           ... View more

I would like to be able to hid individual elements from the pop-up configuration without having to delete them. I am trying to trouble shoot some code and it's difficult to tell what is working and what isn't. Also, I could save out my layer with all of the different combinations of pop up codes that I need and then make a copy of it and hide the ones that I don't need. I realize that I could just delete it, but it would be easier to hide if I decided I wanted to go back and add something else.     ... View more

I know that I've seen it somewhere else, but I'm not seeing it in the the Select By Location tool or the Spatial Join Tool.  For the Relationship in the Select by Location Tool and Match Option for Spatial Join, I would like to see something that makes sure that the center of the feature is within the boundary of said feature. Right now there is no good way to accurately select all of the features that are within, but also cross the boundary of the Selecting Features. For example, This is the result of "Have their center in" where you can see a feature selected that isn't in the Selecting Features where the red arrows are pointing to features that should have been selected.
