I don't see it working any different. The WGS84 to Lambert should warp the cells do to the difference in projection styles. It will reshape your vector data. Lambert gets wider and more distorter the closer you get to the equator. The centers are the poles WGS is more of a sphere based projection. The centers are the planets core.

I would first have to ask why you want to or feel the need to transform it. If possible you should keep it in WGS84

That worked perfect. I changed the name of the existing user.config and just pasted the one from my c:\ and they were all there. And you can go up a directory or 2 and copy your favorites there as well. Though I already had connection files ready to go and simply added them in that way.

I am wondering if the list of Recent Projects when you start pro is saved as a file or bookmark somewhere on your disk drive. Our situation is when we are working in the office we work direct off our intranet. When we work remote we VPN into our network, then we can work off our laptops. However, we also have the option to start a Remote Desktop Connection so we can remote into a virtual machine, that is significantly more powerful than our laptops. Yesterday we set up new RDC's and I am setting up Pro for me in my new connection. So I am wondering if there is a set of files or some such I can copy and paste. Like we would for SDE and database connections in ArcMap

You would most likely want to contact Arc10 Technologies. what you can do in this software is going to be different than what we do here.

Not really certain what you are referring to when you say the map metadata viewer. You should add metadata to the Metadata tab in the Group properties before publishing. What you put in for the first 3 values will be the default name for the service, Tags, and Summary when you publish. The description will appear in the service

I have had some minor horror stories with spreadsheets and files that people send to me in the attempts to call it legitimate data. Column headers that are sentences Merges cells Fancy Excel formatting I tell people plain and simple with zero formatting. I had one guy, an intern, I simply sent it back to him over and over telling him what was wrong. Finally his supervisor called to ask why I was giving his intern a hard time. I showed him what was going on. Next version was what I asked for the first time. Seems a lot of non GIS or Engineer types cannot not make a spreadsheet with lots of formatting. "But this is the way I want it to look in the GIS"

I believe the issue lies with your avatar. If you change it to a Vikings Logo the sky will be blue for you once again. On a less serious note. I just looked at the results of all locations collected in the field in the last 3 months for one of my apps and they are all uppercase.

Yes, open the .csv in Excel and make sure all columns have headers. And headers that are appropriate. Best practice for .csv headers are with no special characters other than Underscore "_" And they should not start with numbers. Though with newer version they can be added. I have a .csv provided to me for Arc Flash data that contains spaces and the @ symbol. However, I immediately load them into an appropriate table

Talk to your GIS professional in your office on how to log into your Portal. If you are offline then you cannot load the maps. It is like having gas in a gas can in your garage and you run out 23.4 miles away.
