Hello Vicente, I appreciate the translated post and especially the screen captures, thank you for this. I think the user settings file ArcGIS for AutoCAD creates and updates with a users ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise organizational connections is corrupt. This settings file for ArcGIS for AutoCAD is named, ApplicationSettings.json and is located at: C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\ESRI\ArcGIS for AutoCAD\400 Let's try the following steps to get you back up and running: 1) Make sure all Autodesk products are not running. 2) Open Windows File Explorer, locate and delete the ApplicationSettings.json file. 3) Start Autodesk Map 3D and see that the ArcGIS for AutoCAD splash screen appears. 4) If not not send a screen capture of the errors. I look forward to hearing from you!

Hello Uğurcan, I also use AutoCAD 2023 and a blank new drawing. I can use all the ArCGIS for AutoCAD tools as needed. I am sure you are stepping through adding the Coordinate System correctly, but here is the Online doc: Set the coordinate system https://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/arcgis-for-autocad/#/Set_the_coordinate_system/061p0000000v000000/ Have you tried adding a web feature layer from an ArcGIS Online and or ArcGIS Enterprise organization? Adding this layer will also set the CS in the drawing, but I just want you to try this to see if we can or we are also having issues with this too. The online doc: Add a web feature layer https://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/arcgis-for-autocad/#/Add_a_web_feature_layer/061p0000007v000000/ If you are having trouble with any of this as I think you mentioned nothing is working I suggest you call Esri Technical Support and open a case with them to take a deeper look in to this behavior. The Enterprise Ext Team is who supports this product. Please reach out as needed in our post here, but Support would be the next step. Kind regards, Dan

Hello Uğurcan, I have never seen this issue before. I have a few questions: 1) Is this a brand new drawing? 2) Are we using build 420 of ArcGIS for AutoCAD. 3) What version of AutoCAD are we using? 4) Have you tried other drawings and or new drawings? 5) Please provide details of the drawing file you have in the provided screen capture. Thank you, Dan

Hello Vicente, Thank you for using ArcGIS for AutoCAD. As much as we want to assist you I first need this post translated to English. This includes the messaging from both provided screen captures too. Are we using ArcGIS for AutoCAD build 410? Kind regards, Dan

Hello, Please post new questions as new so they are easier to find by the community. If your first question is regarding Branch versioning then it has already been answered within this existing post: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-for-autocad-questions/support-for-utility-network-branch-version/m-p/1091938#M672 As for question 2, if the layer added is versioned then ArcGIS for AutoCAD will respect that database version. I hope this helps.

Hello @MCh, I appreciate all of the requested information, however, without reviewing those ArcGIS Server logs we do not have a direction to go in just yet. I suggest submitting a case with Esri Technical Support (Enterprise Extensions Team) with all of this information and the type of enterprise database and version. If you can provide then with the feature layer to test or a copy of the data to test in-house that would help as well. Thank you!

Hello MCh, I thank you as well for using ArcGIS for AutoCAD and I am sorry about this issue you are running into while synchronizing. I must say, as the error indicates if the user continues then it is possible all edits will be lost. With the information provided I really cannot provide an answer just yet. I might suggest a case be submitted to Esri Technical Support, but let's go through a few questions first to get started. 1) What version of AutoCAD are we using? 2) Is this feature layer from ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise? If ArcGIS Enterprise, what version are we using? 3) If ArcGIS Enterprise did you happen to check the ArcGIS Server (hosting server) logs for additional information on the error? 4) Are we using the native language version of ArcGIS software or the English versions? 5) Does this layer use subtypes and domains? If so, can we check for any special characters that might be in use? 6) Can you make edits to this layer from an ArcGIS Map Viewer? 7) Was this layer synchronizing successfully at the previous build of ArcGIS for AutoCAD, 400.2? I look forward to hearing from you!

Hello Ted, Your post mentions the use of a MapServer, however this requested functionality already exists for a MapServer URL. Example URL: https://Domain.com/WebAdaptorName/rest/services/USA/USA/MapServer As we can see in the above screen capture perhaps your request is about a FeatureServer [https://Domain.com/WebAdaptorName/rest/services/USA/USA/FeatureServer] (Web Feature Layer) instead which as we can see from the image is not available in the current build of ArcGIS for AutoCAD.

Hello Ted, We believe what you are describing is based on an ArcGIS Desktop client workflow where there is one table of contents. While there is logic to this one table of contents all polylines, points, polygons and basemaps are added to this one table. However, the user has the ability to rearrange the layers to create the best map as needed. ArcGIS for AutoCAD has the Esri Contents UI which simply separates the map/image layers from the feature layers from the document feature layers. In this scenario the map/image layers appear to be on "top" of the feature layers, but the feature layers have a predefined drawing order to be on the top of any map/image layers as they should be when working with these GIS layers. If I am off topic here please provide more detail as to what the issue and or idea you are looking for is.

Hello Ted, When we are within the ArcGIS for AutoCAD's "Manage Portals" UI we can add new ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online connections. Once the new Organization has been added by entering the URL a new tile is added displaying the details. On this same tile we can click the blue "Sign In" button to sign in as well. In the image below a red box surrounds this blue button. We then see the green checkmark/circle indicating the connection is active. The blue button is also displaying "Sign Out". AFA Manage Portals If we then close the "Manage Portals" UI and click the blue "Sign In" button (this could be a blue profile button instead) in the upper right of the "Add Data" UI we can also see the list of available organizations and if they are active. Blue sign in is displayed as profile The ability to set a default organization is a valid idea I have added to the AFA development board. This is an idea we want to do, just not in the immediate plans to implement. Thank you for the idea.

Hello Ted, Perhaps I am not understanding the question, but from what I do know filtering map, feature and image layers is already possible within the Add Data UI of ArcGIS for AutoCAD. By default all three layer types are selected and there are 18 layers available. Default layer filter. After selecting the layer type I need as I believe you are describing I still have 18 available layers: Selecting the Feature Layers type However, after selecting the layer type I want to filter I then click the Apply button and now I only have eight Feature Layers available. Feature layer filter applied I hope this helps.

Hello Ted, Thank you for using ArcGIS for AutoCAD. The ability to add layers by their layerID has been available for quite some time. Would you mind providing more details (screen captures and errors) of this behavior you are seeing please? If any of the layers you are working with are public can you provide the URL(s) so we can test in-house too.

Hello Tomas, Thank you for using ArcGIS for AutoCAD! Other than the minor question here I am glad to hear your published services are working well for you. With the information provided in your post I am curious how the layer(s) were published and from where? I ask because when you publish from ArcGIS Pro we can dictate how our feature classes will display, color, size, etc. so, I wonder how the feature classes were symbolized before publishing. On the other side I also wondering if perhaps any new objects/features were drawn in the CAD file on Layer 0 (which has the default color of white). Another words, what are the colors of the "footprints", "room" and Interior Walls" in both ArcGIS and AutoCAD? If you can go into a little more detail and add screen captures we can continue discussing this topic. As for the secondary question about a definition query to display just the features that reside on level 1, 2, 3, etc. I would highly recommend you log a case with Esri Technical Support to work on this. I look forward to hearing from you!

Hello Michele, You mention build 350 in your initial post so, if we are in contention with this version or maybe 370 I cannot say where either of these folders might be since you simply just unzip the file and use netload back in those days so the ArcGIS for AutoCAD files could be anywhere on your system. Since build 400+ the installation is required to go to the specific folder we are discussing here so, if say build 400.2 is installed we need to use the Windows Control Panel to uninstall. The installer for 400+ only looks for the presence of AFA in the application list to see if it is there or not. I also just noticed build 400.2 is selected in 777.jpg. I hope we want to install build 410 instead. 1) Please provide a screen capture of the application list within the Windows Control Panel. 2) Please provide a screen capture of the Windows File Explorer drilled down to C:\Program Files\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins. 3) Just in case please also include a picture of the ApplicationPlugins folder under (x86) too.
