Hi All, one of users is trying to use Survey123 on a Surface Pro (Windows 10) and Samsung Note 8 (Andriod). When attempting to open an existing Form (downloaded) the app stops responding and the only way forward is to crash out of the app. The user let it sit for about 15mins and it eventually opened but was significantly slow when using the device. We have installed the Application on Windows 10 locally (before the forms would save in a roaming profile) both App and forms and we still get the same result. When testing Survey123 Connect for ArcGIS on a Windows 10 Desktop/Laptop it failed to load the form. We have tested on iOS (iPad Pro 9.5inch) and it worked straight away with no issues in loading and using the form. I have attached the form for anyone to test. Thanks Andrew

Hi Claire Proctor, Thanks for the quick reply , I implemented your above solution on my new field called "Hour" for reporting purposes. However, the issue is that it is only going to populate based on the previous question on new records and not the existing records. So the dilemma at present is the need to calculate the existing records. Also what is odd in Survey123 it shows the date/time in NZST or NZDT, but in ArcGIS Pro it shows it in UTC. I would have thought that the Date Format would be consistent between applications. It is some odd functionality that I am experiencing. Thanks Andrew

Hi there, I have a date field that is captured in New Zealand Standard and Daylight Savings Time when using Survey123. When I go to calculate this data in ArcGIS Online to extract the Hour component from the date. It is returning the wrong hour. for example if the data was collected at 6am it returns the actual hour as 6pm or 7pm (Daylight savings time). Has anyone experienced this in AGOL. Thanks Andrew

Hi there, I think i am attempting to do the opposite here. I want to use the X/Y (Lat/Long) to test the nearest location and then populate the location with that information. Hi SPrindle-esristaff, thanks for the question. I guess it would be something similar to ArcGIS Pro that gives you notification to update and then you click update and it automatically updates. because at present the method for updating Survey123 is that you need to uninstall the current version and install the new version. Hi James Tedrick Thanks for this, so i have figured out that in the Editor View of the StoryMap it will display the points but the thumbnails does not come through as Survey123 doesnt create a thumbnail. So my next question would be is it possible to replicate the photo in to another photo field and call it PrimaryThumbnail.jpg just like StoryMap. This would allow me to then at least display the information in the Editor View of the StoryMap Cheers

Hi There, ichivite-esristaff and JTedrick-esristaff I was wondering, If I were to Add an Image (capture Photo) using S123 based on Crowdsourced StoryMap Feature Service, would this save the image to the same location as in the StoryMap? Hi JHasthorpeesriaustralia-com-au-esridist Thanks for this information. we are in a part of New Zealand that has variable connectivity for mobiles. What I have told them that it is best wait until they get connectivity before resubmitting. Though if the bug is when they are submitting then I believe that we need to take the photo using the device then add the photo in survey123. Yes we are seeing that it logs us out when we lose connectivity. In terms of the survey this is an organisational one only. That is why i find it strange that it drops the user name even though in the created field it holds there username. Thanks for adding the request to the enhancements Many thanks Andrew

Hi All, One of our field staff has made me aware of an issues with Survery123. When the user is capturing a survey with attached photo and the form is submitted it drops the photo from the form. general question, can you continue capturing a form if you are not logged in and why doesnt S123 persist with your login? Also as an aside, it would be good that once you capture an image in the survey it also saves it to the gallery. It doesnt work for iPad, but it does for an Android device.
