Hi Ryan Day - did you ever find a resolution to this? We are just encountering the same problem but now from ArcGIS Collector (10.3.3) - again 401 errors in the IIS logs where some requests from Collector are sent with credentials but others are not and fail with a 401. What's frustrating is that Collector has my credentials, uses them to authenticate like you can see in the call to the job but then doesn't bother to send them when trying to download the geodatabase 😕 Date Time Verb URL Username HTTP Status 2015-10-06 12:36:40 GET /arcgisprivate/rest/services/test/frm_inspections_own/FeatureServer/jobs/jd468af57cf524e7ab031198e08385b6c [My Windows Username] 200 2015-10-06 12:36:40 GET /arcgisprivate/rest/directories/arcgisoutput/test/frm_inspections_own_MapServer/_ags_data{F18E7D6E68B34B878DEE0C88E00E0E65}.geodatabase - 401 2015-10-06 12:36:40 GET /arcgisprivate/rest/directories/arcgisoutput/test/frm_inspections_own_MapServer/_ags_data{F18E7D6E68B34B878DEE0C88E00E0E65}.geodatabase - 401 Thanks Andrew

NASA make TRMM available in pre-processed TIF with TFW files that may be useful for you? They can be downloaded from ftp://trmmopen.gsfc.nasa.gov/pub/gis/ using an anonymous login, with documentation available - including a specific README for the re-formatted files.

Our setup: ArcGIS Server 10.3.1 ArcGIS Portal 10.3.1 Both use the IIS Web Adapter with Integrated Windows Authentication. I can connect to our ArcGIS Portal Instance from ArcGIS Collector from my Android device. Often logging in is a challenge but occasionally I can make it and view the maps, however there is a message that You don't have any maps for use with Collector. Learn More I have editable maps published that use editable Feature Services hosted on our ArcGIS Server. I can edit the data using the Web Map Viewer in portal, and have saved the map since then, however the maps still don't appear in Collector. Do you have any suggestions what is going wrong with these maps? The login issues I have seem related to https://community.esri.com/message/460254?et=watches.email.thread#460254 and can usually be resolved by qualifying the username@domain, however sometimes I also see the odd web login below with no fields to enter the username and password. The SSL certificate on the host is signed by a trusted CA which is accepted by the browser on the android device.

Hi We are just getting going with ArcGIS Portal, we haven't federated Portal and Server, but they run on the same box. Each with their respective IIS WebAdapters. I can add items from the ArcGIS Server OK via HTTP, but if I try to add from a service with an HTTPS URL the process fails, both via Add Item in My Content, and add layer from the Web in the map viewer. I can add the same services to ArcGIS Online without a problem. I have imported the SSL certificate using keytool but to no effect. There is mention of a bug in a previous thread that ArcGIS Portal can't accept SSL map services from the same host name. Is this the issue I've come across, and if so what is the work around? These are feature services to be edited with ArcGIS Collector so my understanding is they should be accessed via HTTPS. When debugging the network traffic I can see a request is made to the service URL from the browser, that returns a null response (but HTTP status 200 OK ), if I visit the URL directly I can see the service description in JSON. e.g. https://my-server/arcgis/rest/services/woodlands/FeatureServer?f=json Thanks Andrew

Hi We are looking to deploy ArcGIS Collector to some corporate devices where we will be using Citrix Worx and MDM for security and device management. As Collector isn't available in the Worx marketplace, is there a source that we can download the APK to sideload/deploy via the device manager? I have +1'd the idea to make ArcGIS Collector available through the marketplace and would hope to see this enterprise support available in the future, like ESRI have certified ArcGIS desktop for Xenapp. Does anyone else have experience using collector in a Citrix MDM environment ? Thanks Andrew
