The Web Part Connectivity is very help feature and yet it is only available to on-prem SharePoint client as describe here Connect the map to other web parts—ArcGIS Maps for SharePoint | ArcGIS It would be great if this can be implemented for MS365 users. It would be a valuable tool for geographic aware users to quickly filter record on SharePoint List. This feature was brought up in 2016 UC, but it has not been implemented on MS365

Is it possible to remove sharepoint 365 list from arcgis maps for sharepoint? This article talks about how to add data from SharePoint, but there is no removal feature in the configuration window The only workaround is to create a new ArcGIS Maps web part when mistakes are made? I am on #sharepoint 365

Hi Philip, Were you able to get this going? I just had mine setup. I agree the doc needs work. The configuration list require you be a site collection admin. see Configuration permissions—ArcGIS Maps for SharePoint | ArcGIS For my case, my IT colleague had to make sure his credential for Admin Center is added to the site where the plugin was installed. Once that's added, the same credential is used to configure ArcGIS Map for Sharepoint, ie the link will become available for you to configure

A dwg was created using Export to CAD GP tool for a consultant. Once the consultant finished line works and populated the attribute info in AutoCAD using ArcGIS for AutoCAD, saved it then gave it back. It seems after running the CAD to GDB GP tool to convert back to GDB format, the Domains are gone. No longer in the assigned fields and the GDB does not have Domain listed, either. Is this by designed? Or am I missing a step?

Hi Steve, When i looked at the world imagery in map frame, it does not appear to close to the border hence my confusion. Since my posting, my intern was able to export out and she got what was rendered in the layout using the same aprx. I also tried using other colleague's pc and got the same result as layout. Tested again on my machine, I got a different imagery. I suspect there is a setting issue going on

I have a layout that's 6'x4' large with world imagery basemap in it. The imagery I get in the layout differs from what I get in the PDF. The geolocation is fine, it is the rendering that I am questioning. It appears it is sourcing different imagery due to zoom level, but should this be expected? If I see this in layout shouldn't I be expecting it in PDF output and not this? I've tried with EMF format, and received the same result. Any suggestion? Thanks.

Thanks to Mark who initiated this and everyone's contribution. I had similar issue in the last 24 hours after trying to overwrite an existing Map and Feature Service (MFS). This was most likely caused by recent upgrade of our SQL db and ArcGIS server to 2012 and 10.4.1, respectively. In hindsight, I should have upgraded to 10.5.1 but this isn't the point here. These are the steps I took after reading through this thread. Not sure what was the one that fixed the publishing issue. I am inclined to say it is the newly established Database Connection string after upgraded to 10.4.1. In ArcCatalog (AC), deleted my database connection and recreate a new one with the same credential. Open the mxd that I had issue publishing, and resource the data layer with the new connection by going through each layer in the TOC. Log into ArcGIS Server Manager (ASM) >> site >> DataStore >> validate all Data store (Note: tried this before but did not help. Doing this again, simply as a precaution) In AC, restart the Publishing Tool GP under System. (Note: tried restarting just this service before but did not work. Doing this again, simply as a precaution) From the Mxd, shared and overwrote the MFS on the server....worked...phew~~

Ok, it turned out, I had to reboot my machine. However, ArcCatalog was struggling to launch after the 1st reboot. Window OS was asking permission to close the launch. Had to reboot the 2nd time to launch ArcCatalog successfully.

I have Desktop 10.4.x installed on my machine and when I try to upgrade to the latest x-ray for ArcCatalog and ArcMap, only ArcMap worked. The files were downloaded from http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=9ea218ff575f4a5195e01a2cae03a0ae (arccatalog) & https://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=f0ae73e90c1a4992a1059e7d370966d4 (arcmap). Before today's update, I already have X-Ray enabled in my ArcCatalog but it was an old version. I go to Add-In Manager and delete the old add-in in Catalog and before double clicking on the new ones. After installing with successful message, I notice that for both Add-Ins there are added to the 10.2 folder rather than then 10.4 folder under the User/Documents/ArcGIS/Addins folder. I rename the destination folder and double click to install the add-ins, and a new 10.2 folder gets created. When I go to ArcMap, I am able to view the Add-In in the Add-in Manager. However, in Catalog, I am unable to. I try to do it manually via Customize Mode, I get this message "No GUI components found in this Add-In. Add-In version does not match. " I try using the Manager and navigate to the folder where the Add-Ins reside, nothing happens. No error message no changes either. I no longer have old X-Ray for ArcCatalog available. Anything else I can try to get this working? This current version should work with 10.4.1 right?
