Go to the ArcGIS License Server Administrator > Availability folder. Double-click on a feature. It's basically the authorization number follow by "-1010".

Thanks for the explanation. The bug you've mentioned concerned the FEATURE ACT line in the service.txt file. When authorizing named user licenses, it did not update the FEATRURE ACT line. This was fixed in the next version. If you experience the issue and just upgraded your license manager, you will still have the issue. Do the following to resolve it: 1. Coy the FEATURE ACT line from the named user .lic file and replace the line in the service.txt file. Reread or restart the license manager afterward. 2. Reauthorize the named user license. It will replace the existing features. This is probably the easiest option. Just reauthorizing your ArcGIS Pro named user licenses will fix your issue.

GROUP A user1 user2 INCLUDE Editor GROUP A MAX 6 Editor GROUP A EXCLUDE_ENTITLEMENT EFL123456789-1010 GROUP A GROUP B user3 user4 INCLUDE Viewer GROUP B MAX 6 Viewer GROUP B EXCLUDE_ENTITLEMENT EFL987654321-1010 GROUP B Using your example. I've replaced Product with actual feature name, Editor (Standard) and Viewer (Basic) licenses. INCLUDE Editor GROUP A: All members in group A can check out the Editor license. Everyone else cannot. EXCLUDE_ENTITLEMENT EFL123456789-1010 GROUP A: Assuming the EntitlementID given is for Editor license. All members in group A cannot borrow the Editor license but all other users can. This is why users in GROUP B and any other users can borrow the Editor license. This contradict what you were expecting: 1. Only the usernames in the OPT file should be able to use\borrow licences. 2. Groups will control who can use a product, INCLUDEs allow to check-out but EXCLUDE_ENTITLEMENT should prevent them from borrowing those products. The following is probably what you want: GROUP A user1 user2 GROUP B user3 user4 INCLUDE Editor GROUP A INCLUDE Viewer GROUP B MAX 6 Editor GROUP A MAX 6 Viewer GROUP B Here you defined your two groups. Only members in GROUP A can check out the Editor license. Only GROUP B can check out the Viewer license. No one else can check out either licenses. Also a maximum of 6 licenses can be checked out by either group at the same time. INCLUDE_ENTITLEMENT EFL123456789-1010 GROUP A INCLUDE_ENTITLEMENT EFL987654321-1010 GROUP B Assuming: EFL123456789-1010 = Editor EFL987654321-1010 = Viewer Using the example above, only members from GROUP A can borrow the Editor license. Only members from GROUP B can borrow the Viewer license. A member of GROUP A cannot borrow a Viewer license. Of course if you want a member from GROUP A to borrow either licenses, you must add it to both parameter. Recap: INCLUDE: allows ONLY members in the group to check out a feature license. INCLUDE_ENTITLEMENT: allows ONLY members in the group to borrow a feature license. EXCLUDE: do not allow members from the group to check out a feature licenses but everyone else can. EXCLUDE_ENTITLEMENT: do not all members from the group to borrow a feature license but everyone else can. I hope this clears up any confusion.

Chuck, Can you provide more information? There's not enough detail here to determine what is happening. You mentioned LM 10.5.1 bug but using LM 2018.0. I'm assuming you're using LM 2018.0. Can you go to the Availability folder so we can determine what license was authorized? Also go to the Configure Authorization dialogue in ArcGIS Pro. Make sure it's pointing to the correct license manager. It's possible you're pointing to the wrong license manager.

Use the INCLUDE/EXCLUDE parameter for checking out licenses. Use the INCLUDE_ENTITLEMENT/EXCLUDE_ENTITLEMENT for borrowing licenses. GROUP A user1 user2 INCLUDE Product1 GROUP A MAX 6 Product1 GROUP A EXCLUDE_ENTITLEMENT GROUP A In your option file above, you want everyone in GROUP A to be able to use Product1 and exclude everyone else not included in GROUP A. You also set a limitation of 6 licenses for Product1 at a time. By adding EXCLUDE_ENTITLEMENT, you're saying users in GROUP A can use Product1 but cannot check it out. By supplying the entitlementID for that feature, all users in GROUP A should not be able to borrow that feature license. But all other users can. What is the goal you're trying to achieve? Perhaps there is a different option. If providing the entitlmentID solve your problem, great!

Mo, You can convert named user licenses to single use or concurrent use licenses, depending on what you had, in https://my.esri.com. You will need to log in with an account with administrative access. Then go to My Organization\Licensing tab. There is another tab on the left side to "Convert ArcGIS Pro Named User License". If you need access or do not see what you need, contact Esri's Customer Service department for assistance.

Shirley, Currently there is no option to select extensions when using the silent install. The parameter for this does not yet exist. However, I have heard of other clients using the following workaround: 1. Start ArcGIS Pro to use the concurrent use licensing option. 2. Go to the Configure Authorization dialogue and select all or preferred extensions. The selected extensions are stored in the following registry hive: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\ESRI\ArcGISPro\Licensing\Extensions. 3. Export the Extensions Registry hive and apply it to other workstation. You can run a script to silently install ArcGIS Pro follow by registry hive. Hope this helps.

Stacie, Thanks for bringing this issue to our attention. I have included this issue to our internal system to be addressed. Hopefully we can have a fix for this in the next license manager version. If not, I will push to have it in the following version.

Diego, Go to the Support Operations folder and Deauthorize. It will list all the authorized single use license to deauthorize. You may have authorized a Basic or Standard license. If that is case, go back to the Desktop folder and change to the appropriate license level as Lauren mentioned. It's possible you may have authorized ArcGIS Pro single use licenses. ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro use the same authorization wizard under the hood. You can use either applications to authorize/deauthorize ArcMap or ArcGIS Pro single use licenses. However, each application has its own license. You cannot use Pro licenses for ArcMap and vice versa. Check to see which license you authorized.

Robert, If you're using named user with on-premise portal, the expiration date of the a license taken offline is determine by the time frame set in the license manager. By default it's set to 30 days. Of course the time frame can be shorten or extended. As for named user license with ArcGIS Online, this feature is not yet available. However it is on our road map to be available in the near future. We're just not sure at which version yet.

Is it possible you've chosen a per user install option? If so, ArcGIS Pro installed it to the local user profile: C:\Users\<login user>\AppData\Local\Programs\ArcGIS\Pro. If you see ArcGIS Pro in Programs and Feature in the Control Panel, look at the directory above. If Pro is not yet install, run the msi again. There should be an option to do per machine or per user install. If you chose a per machine install and you get the same result, something did not insatll/uninstall correctly. Contact Technical Support as Dan mentioned.

Just to be clear, ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Pro have separate licenses. Licenses for ArcGIS Desktop does not work for ArcGIS Pro and vice versa. With that said, you can use the Deauthorize option in ArcGIS Pro or the ArcGIS Administrator to deauthorize either or all single use licenses. If you used ArcGIS Administrator, you should see a list of all Desktop and Pro licenses. If you don't see the Pro licenses, either it was already deauthorized or it is no longer authorized on the system. What exactly is the "licensing issue"? If you can no longer use that authorization number to authorize, go to the Recover Lost Licenses section in MyEsri or contact Esri Technical Support.
