@RobertKeane1 Thanks for your interest on the new ArcGIS Reality Studio. Suggest reaching out to your Esri Account Representative on this. Also check on evaluation options. There is also a change log for the Esri Education Institution Agreement details which products have been added and when they were added. FYI @AngelaLee may provide the latest update.

@AndrewLaux The "Dissolve Route Events" tool is in the Linear Referencing Tools. The tool allows you to specify dissolve field(s) as well as combine adjacent events. However, the output is created as a new table (not in-place). The tool will work great as part of initial/bulk load of events as a precursor to "Append Events". - as posted in the ArcGIS Ideas thread Event Dissolve As you rightly noted, lrsApplyEdits operation merges coincident events in the case of additions, not updates and deletions. I don't think merge applies to deletes - please elaborate if you have a specific example. I can understand the update use case, but this could be error prone if done in bulk/programmatically. Consider alternate workflows to use: Use Event Editor merge events tool Use Event Editor replace events tool Pre-process data using Dissolve Route Events followed by Append Events. If using this approach, explore the options in Append Events to Retire overlaps Retire by event ID Replace by event ID Hope this helps!

@AndrewLaux curious if the suggested lrsApplyEdits operation works for your use case? Please comment. There is a related enhancement idea for Event Dissolve geoprocessing tool that you can up-vote (kudo) as well.

@BrianOShea Thanks for you interest and being part of the Oil & Gas Community. There are a variety of resources on the topics mentioned that include Esri Industries landing pages, Esri Blogs, Esri Community and the ArcGIS Products used in the specific domains. Many of these landing pages then breakout to segments like Pipeline, Parcel Management, Exploration and you can also search by tags. You can also subscribe to digital as well as hard copy publications that are of interest. Feel free to post questions if there are specific topics. Good luck!

@NicoleHanson1 I don't believe you are running into maximum number of fields limit. It is more likely that there is a connection or lock that is preventing exclusive lock to make the schema change. You can view and release locks using geodatabase administrator privileges. Manage geodatabase locks Sometimes, connections or locks are stubborn and you may have to seek DBA's assistance. To answer the original question, the number of fields in a feature class or table is 65,534. File geodatabase size and name limits Name lengths for feature class or table are listed in this helpful table: Object names

ArcGIS Pro 3.1 will be compatible with ArcGIS Enterprise 11.1 and the documentation will be updated once ArcGIS Enterprise is released. Please refer to ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise compatibility matrix. ArcGIS Pro 3.1 may be tested against file geodatabase. NOTE: Certain new capabilities are dependent on ArcGIS Enterprise 11.1 LRS service.

@KevinHunt This is a good use case, few questions: Is it just one layer where you need to run dissolve on Event features? If no, what other layers can benefit from this? Within an Event feature class how prevalent are records that need to be dissolved? How often do you need to run this operation on Event features? As you rightly noted, the "Dissolve Route Events" tool is in the Linear Referencing Tools. The tool allows you to specify dissolve field(s) as well as combine adjacent events. However, the output is created as a new table (not in-place). The tool will work great as part of initial/bulk load of events as a precursor to "Append Events". Few options to consider: Use Event Editor merge events tool When adding new linear events use option to 'Merge coincident events' Event Editor will merge events few records at a time - no layer level dissolve. Based on the responses to the questions, consider logging an ArcGIS Idea that RHUG community can upvote.
