Natalie, I notice that your "desired" screenshot uses the web browser and the "existing" screenshots use the Survey123 app. Since the app was just recently updated, make sure you are using the latest version of the app (including rebooting the device after updating). If you have updated your apps and blown out browser caches and made sure any key checkboxes were checked in the design page, and if the search function is still missing in the app, think about whether you need to have your users working via the app or whether they might be able to do it satisfactorily with the browser. (Situations vary; this one is your call, so you have to weigh factors.) @Survey123

An Org can have any number of administrators ... which is "good news and other" ... a school Org should have a minimum of two admins, no matter what (because sometimes someone will be unavailable. Beyond that it's a matter of how many people you want to have ULTIMATE POWER. ;>

Terrific clarifying question, Allison! For Living Atlas content that requires a login to view, making that public requires an APP or a Story Map. A "Presentation" is just a tweaked view of the map; if the user cannot see the layers in the map without logging in, the same is true with the Presentation. This is one reason why a Presentation may be a little troublesome in a situation where you want to make it public -- ALL layers need to be publicly visible if you want someone to view without logging in.

Browsers evolve quickly. Chrome is up to v59, Firefox up to v53, and they have "dot releases" in between. When behavior is not as predicted, the easiest, fastest best way to test is, in sequence, to (a) make sure your browser is up to date, (b) blow out the cache, and (c) test with only one operation in your browser at one time ... not a bunch of disparate tabs.

You don't "have a sign in to developers.arcgis.com or developers.maps.arcgis.com" -- You use developers.arcgis.com to create your own personal Org, e.g. "della.maps.arcgis.com". Ignore any appearance of being able to be signed in at developers.arcgis.com ... it is not an Org, and it recognizes anyone visiting while being signed in to {{anywhere including just www}}.arcgis.com. If you're not sure of your username, do this: Go to https://www.arcgis.com/home/troubleshoot.html and enter your email address (you should do this with each email address you might have used). Within a minute, the system will email back to that address a list of all ArcGIS Online usernames attached to that email, whether 1 or 100. If the email doesn't show in 5 minutes, check your spam filters, where it could have been caught. If there's clearly no email and nothing in spam filters (you may have district and school filters as well as personal ones), it's good to try it a second time. If you know your login, but a login/password combo doesn't work, it's likely because the password (which is case sensitive and must be exact) may have been mis-typed, or mis-remembered, or mis-entered originally … I've done all three! So, if it didn't work, here's what you do: Go to https://www.arcgis.com/home/troubleshoot.html and enter your username and request a password reset. Within 5 minutes (sometimes within 1 minute) an email will go to your email address with a link. If the email with the link arrives, you must access that email and click on that link, which will force you to type in --twice-- a new password (which must be at least 8 alphanumeric characters with at least 1 letter and at least 1 number).

Della, to participate in T3G2017, in Prerequisite#5, we asked you to go to http://developers.arcgis.com and create your own "Developers account", which is free. This is a 1-user Org for you alone, to use as a little sandbox in which to practice, explore, create, with 50 credits per month, for free. That should have been part of your application. If you are not sure if you did it or not, go to http://www.arcgis.com/home/troubleshoot.html and provide the email address(es) you use for such things.

I seek someone using a single sign-on approach for AGO, at any school or any district, or even college. That is, do students (a) log in to AGO via a specific AGO-only login, or do they (b) use a general school login for “all things” in the school and, by virtue of that, have access to AGO or other apps with equal ease? http://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/administer/enterprise-logins.htm Most educational settings that I know use (a) above, which would include any situation where an Org admin is creating logins directly within AGO. What I seek is a situation where someone is relying on logins generated only by school/district/college system technician creating a standard student/teacher account that every student/teacher gets for use in all their classes. If you are using (b) or know someone who is, please comment here or direct message me. Thanks!
