Thanks Robert it works great. This will be very helpful for my users so I don't have to explain why something is not showing up and that they might have to just zoom in a little bit. -Stan

Kevin, I do like that idea for users to click on that link to clear the cache, but I want to force it on them when I make a change or upgrade and not have to rely on them to clear a cache. Most of my users would not understand the concept of clearing a cache. -Stan

I have had limited success with the above changes. I am not sure if those changes are really working or not but it looks like it depends on what files I am changing. I will still look into this more as time permits. -Stan

Charmalee, You can create your own css file that the app will reference or modify the theme.css and make the changes. Just add this: @media screen and (max-width: 320px)
.esriCTSignIn {
float: left;
padding: 0 0px;
position: absolute !important;
right: 0px;
top: 0px;
display: none !important; /* added this */
} -Stan

Shaun, It looks like from that sample you can change the style to match what you want. Just use the css .map .tooltip {
background-color: red;
border: 1px solid #7EABCD;
border-radius: 4px 4px 4px 4px;
font-size: 9pt;
padding: 5px;
position: absolute;
width: 100px;
z-index: 9999;
} and add it to a map that has tool tips like the draw toolbar and you should get the desired effect. -Stan

Livia, Are you setting up this popup in Portal or in a javascript api custom map? When you set this up using a custom attribute display you can customize the popup but the spacing will have to be done manually because the RichText box does not allow for adding html code to right and left justify the text. If you are trying to do something custom then in the javascript code you could try something like this <div align="center">your left text</div><div align="center">your right text</div> Hope this helps -Stan

George, As of right now there is not a way to move the popup. I agree that this would be very helpful. Here is a thread that talks a little about this. You may find it helpful/interesting. How do I edit pop-up size and location? -Stan

Here is a blog post about the upcoming (July 2015) update to web app builder. What’s Coming in Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS in the ArcGIS Online July update | ArcGIS Blog Thanks Derek Law and team. The number “5” is unique and has some special significance … In numerology, it is the most dynamic and energetic single-digit number There are 5 senses: sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch Giving a “high five” is considered to be a sign of ‘congratulations’ The Olympic Games have a symbol with 5 interlocking rings of different colors Star Wars Episode V: the Empire Strikes Back is commonly considered to be the “best” movie in the series. In keeping with this tradition, the forthcoming release of Web AppBuider for ArcGIS embedded in ArcGIS Online will have many new features, many based on user feedback and requests.5 new themes Many users wanted more options to change the look and feel of their web apps, and this release will have 5 additional themes to choose from: Billboard, Box, Dart, Jewelry box, and Launchpad. 5 new widgets Many users asked for more functionality, and the team has worked hard to add 5 new widgets: Search widget – This is designed to replace the existing Geocoder widget. In addition to the functionality in the Geocoder widget, it also provides functionality that allows searching and suggestions on multiple sources. Stream widget – This visualizes and controls real-time data feeds from stream services (from the ArcGIS GeoEvent Extension for Server). Summary widget – Allows you to dynamically summarize numeric attributes for features based on the map extent. Incident Analysis widget – Enables you to define an area of interest and understand what’s happening around the area such as current weather, demographic info, and features close to the area. GeoLookup widget – Enables you to geo-enrich a list of supplied latitude and longitude points. You supply a CSV file of points to the widget and it will intersect the points with layers on the map to get values associated with the points. Other enhancements Some additional enhancements to Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS include: Option to have widgets already “opened” when the web app starts up Geoprocessing widget – support for uploading data for use in a GP service which has upload capability Layer List widget – configurable context menus A Zoom Slider widget that provides an interactive +/- zoom control in the map display Better responsive support for the Foldable theme and Tab theme Configure the sorting rules for query results in the Query widget Support Image Service Vector Layer and Image Service Layer Many bug fixes (including the ability to download the source code of finished web apps from the item details page in ArcGIS Online). FYI: In an earlier ArcGIS Online July update release announcement, it stated the following for Web AppBuilder, A new Workflow widget will build the communication among individual widgets so that the output of one widget can be the input of another. There will be support for persisting the app and map state. These two enhancements are still being developed and refined and will NOT be part of the next Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS update. They will be part of a later Web AppBuilder release. We’re looking forward to seeing the user community leverage some of the new functionality above soon! Sincerely, The Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS Dev team

Fabio, Smart mapping is just a catchy phrase to say that there are new capabilities in AGOL to create better looking maps from the defaults. It looks at your data and suggests good ways to view it. Are asking for a way to change the symbology of the AGOL map from the end user side? There is a smart mapping module in the api that says : Description (Added at v3.13) This module contains a collection of helper functions used to create pre-configured renderers for smart feature styling. esri/renderers/smartMapping | API Reference | ArcGIS API for JavaScript Here are some samples from the api that could be converted to a widget that would help to render the data on the fly. Smart Mapping - Render class breaks with color | ArcGIS API for JavaScript Smart Mapping - Show Data by Color | ArcGIS API for JavaScript Generate renderer | ArcGIS API for JavaScript Hope this helps some. -Stan

Fabio, Smart Mapping is not a plug in or widget. It is part of the AGOL map. The capabilities and enhancements that smart mapping brings are default now in AGOL. When you create a new map in AGOL you have access to better tools to make your maps look better. You then add that web map to your Web AppBuilder and now you can add widgets to use the map better. Here is a blog post from esri about it Introducing Smart Mapping | ArcGIS Blog -Stan
