Hello, So, below you could create from your PM2.5 point.shp by doing a query using 'Select by Attributes' and export the shapefiles. Then based on zip codes 'Select by Location' and export. This will show you the different concentrations by zip code. Also, once you have the desired results, you could label the symbology by showing different sizes for 1-4. 1) UHF zones with very high concentrations of PM2.5 (greater than 15 mg/m3), 2) UHF zones with somewhat high PM2.5 concentrations (between 14 and 15 mg/m3), 3) UHF zones with very high rates of asthma (prevalence > 6 people with asthma per 100 people) 4) UHF zones with somewhat high asthma rates (between 5.5 and 6 people with asthma per 100 people). There are many ways you could show 1-4 either by a simple way (quick-The DOHMH wants a simple first pass at this, so all they want is an additive model at the UHF-level (an aggregate of zip codes) that quantifies the following things) or a complex analysis based on both vectors and raster. Hope this helps! James

Hey, I fixed your problem. I projected the shapefile.shp to NAD_1983_StatePlane_New_York_Central. I added a new field called "Scale" but but made the type 'Double' instead of 'Long Integer'. I populated the new field with your values for scale. I am not sure if it was the projection or the type but it works. Let me know if I can further assist. James

I projected it to NAD_1983_StatePlane_New_York_Central. I am working on it now. I see what you are talking about. It doesn't seem to recognize the DD_Scale. James

Hello Stacy, Where did you get the file Box Boundaries? Shapefile.shp? CAD.dwg fie? I believe if you fix the projection it will work. Data driven pages does not recognize the scale since it is not projected.

Hey Stacy, Where are the BOX-BOUNDARIES located? Village of Churchville? I believe the reason you cannot get the scale to work is because of projection. The file you gave me is undefined. Thanks

Hello Spiro, Questions: are the zip codes polygons? Are the zip codes your boundary file? Is the boundary file a polyline or polygon? Does the tabular dataset of asthma rates have a unique identifier? Thanks James

Hello John, Sounds like you have adjusted and now, you are moving towards your goal. The only way to know is to do Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC) on your analysis. Maybe you could take a certain portion of you analysis by random sampling along the route. For instance, you could use a 5 mile section and use all vertices for a viewshed analysis. Then use vertices every 500 feet. This way, by using a small portion, you could do a QAQC and determine the accuracy. It will take less time Thanks James

Hello, You can create a new discussion and attach the zipped shapefile and send it directly to me. To do this task, find the icon with the pencil and drop down menu. Choose the Discussion...there is a attach in the lower right corner. Thanks

Hello, When you perform XY Data by adding the X and Y values., do the points overlay correctly to you area of Interest? try zooming to a point. If so, then have you exported the data just in a shapefile.shp. (I want to be clear but I believe you stated above that it shows the attribute name by no data). Can you send me a sample of your excel spreadsheet? Thanks James
