There's not a function, but the pre-Push method uses an index variable, and then incrementing it. By accessing the next item in an array by number, you can assign values to it, which will work the same way. var idx = 0
for (var c in xs) {
c_array[idx] = c['NAME']
idx ++
}

You ought to be able to use the Enable COGO GP tool on the layer prior to processing. Not sure if you can run it against an already-published layer. Whether or not COGO is enabled is one of the settings defined in a hosted layer's JSON. You can also use something like the Parcel Drafter Solution, which has a COGO-enabled line layer published as part of the solution. I imagine you could use that to create your layer, then just adapt it from there, rather than use it with the Parcel Drafter widget.

It is possible! Any line layer that is COGO-enabled can be used with the Traverse tool in Pro to directly edit and update its COGO attributes and geometry.

I mean you'd need to go Category Selector → List Widget → Map in order to use the expression-based categories, no using them directly against the map. And yes, I mean a real field and data values would need to be added to the table in order to use the category selector directly against map features.

Okay. This is sort of similar to something I use in a few dashboards. It can kind of work, but you won't be able to connect the buttons directly to a map, since a category selector will require any filtered category to be linked by the same field that the categories come from. In short, to filter a map straight from a category selector, you'll need the category to be a hard-coded field. In the dashboards where we use this function, we have a List (though a Table could work, too) that uses the same data expression as the category selector, and a selection in the list filters / zooms the map. Would that fit your dashboard? You know what would really solve this? If dashboards had a "contains any of..." filter option for selectors!

The maximum scale of the map seems to relate to the spatial reference, though where these limits are stored I do not know. In EPSG 3435, which is a state plane projection in Illinois, I can zoom in to 1:0.04 (25:1). But in other projects when I work in another projection, I cannot go past 1:1.

I'm at 20 and still going strong! Maybe it would depend on the map's configuration, but 16 doesn't appear to be a limit.

Are you positive that the imagery layer isn't just in the Living Atlas section of the Portal's content? We're able to use the layer in our Portal without any need to share it across from elsewhere. Subscriber content doesn't consume any credits, so you ought to be able to use it in your Portal without any constraints.

Presumably, if those collaboration items were then shared over to your portal's basemap group, yes. Or else, you could set up a collaboration specifically for the basemaps, so that it goes AGOL basemap group → Portal basemap group. I can't see why that wouldn't work.

What would you be using the views for? Just to look at a specific version without having to actually "occupy" it?

You could certainly try that. We do have one or two EB apps that have other apps in an embed. I would also take a look at the options on the Section / View items. I don't know if this is just a Developer Edition thing, but I am able to tell my sections to use "lazy loading", in which the content for the view is not loaded until I actually switch to that view. Is it possible to just make these each different pages, instead of views in a section? That would prevent them from loading all at once, and would also give you the opportunity to nicely name each page, so users can save the link to, say your-experience-url/?page=preset4 or whatever name makes sense to you.

If you used a Data Expression, you could create a filter based on whether the URL was null or not, but then you might have trouble connecting that selector back to the original data, unless that Data Expression also was referenced by most of your other non-map widgets. var portal = Portal('your portal url')
var fields = [
'array',
'of',
'field',
'names',
'you',
'need'
]
// make sure the objectid is one of the fields you include!
var fs = FeatureSetByPortalItem(
portal,
'itemid of service',
0, // or whatever index the layer is
fields,
False
)
return GroupBy(
fs,
fields,
{
name: 'has_pr',
expression: 'CASE WHEN press_release IS NULL THEN 0 ELSE 1 END',
statistic: 'SUM'
}
) In short, this would basically give you back the same set of features you put into it, with all the same fields, but with a new field tacked on, called has_pr. This field will be a 0 when the press release URL field is null, and 1 when it has a value present. You'd be able to configure any non-map widgets to look at this Data Expression to show things like a list, statistical indicators, and the like, and interactions with other widgets like a list or chart could be used to filter features in the map by linking their objectid fields.

What I would do is add the standalone table to the map. Then configure the table's popup in the map, where you can set the display order of the different fields. Then in your dashboard, have it connect to the table from the map. This way it can have your defined settings come in with it.

Ah, right. Standalone tables don't let you easily modify their default settings. You'd have to open up the service JSON and edit it directly, I think. Or else you'd need to make those changes in a map, and then use the map in your dashboard. Does your dashboard have a map?
