Hi thanks for you response (I really should have posted an update here) i had eventually figured this out and this was exactly what i did i removed the types and it worked perfectly. This is a really useful tool for us now.

Great post this looks really useful and i was looking to do something similar. i have set up similar flows previously looking to edit a feature service following the submission of a survey123 form ,which were successful however i now need to do something similar and add new information based on rows added in smartsheet. i can understand your HTTP request however what i cant grasp is how you passed the values from smart sheet. How did you manage to specify the specific colume from the row added ?

I am trying to follow the instructions in the link below to automatically update a layer after submitting a survey in Survey123 https://resources.esri.ca/getting-technical/webhooks-microsoft-flow-and-the-arcgis-rest-api-automating-your-web-gis However i am failing at the final hurdle and receiving this error message https://resources.esri.ca/getting-technical/webhooks-microsoft-flow-and-the-arcgis-rest-api-automating-your-web-gis The execution of template action 'While_Loop' failed: the result of the evaluation of 'foreach' expression '@{body('Parse_Query_JSON')?['objectIds']} ' is of type 'String'. The result must be a valid array. Can anyone give me some idea as to what i am doing wrong?

Hi Xander Bakker‌ I happen to have just two in this data set as it was a test hosted feature , but this error has appeared over several data sources. This particular field is an integer but again i have seen this error in multiple field types. I used two types of expressions one was simply inserting a common value of say "2", the other was more complicated summing the total values of a column from another data source, using the feature set function and both failed. SQL option works for calculation , individual edits work and editing via ArcGIS pro also works.

I am the admin of my organisation and I can create feature templates in a web map however when other users attempt to add a new feature template, via a web map, they are met with the following error. The feature template is added for the current session they are in but when they reload the map it disappears and reverts to the original settings. I understand they are not the owners of the layer but should it not work if they create a copy of their layer and save it to their content?

ArcGIS online Arcade expressions - Unable to Append Data When performing calculation on layers in ArcGIS online using Arcade expressions I am often met with this error message(see image below) .It does not matter what calculation I perform it may be simply entering a single value or more complication expressions. I receive the messages "inserting" and "committing" and then is fails.What could be the cause of this?

Whilst this functionality can be useful when used responsibly it can lead to complacency with users especially when the information collected is very repetitive. An option in settings before publishing the form to choose if this button is available or not in the survey would be very useful.

Hi Philip It was published Via Connect, Attachments were enabled and the feature layer settings were selected as shown in your post.Unfortunately i could not wait any longer to publish the survey so i have just published it and backed up the information before i did it. The information was deleted after i published it.

I have a survey published with already contains Data. I had several image questions within the form that where not set to required. I would now like to update them to be required. I have downloaded the form va survey123 connect and updated the required field to required = yes for the images in question however when i go to republish the survey i receive the attached Error "The existing Data service is not compatible with the survey -(request error)" As a test I have simple tried to republish the form without making any changes to it and i still receive this warning message. Any ideas as to what is causing this issue ? Thanks

Thanks Kelly. I have decided to go with the Survey 123 app and create a form for each user, based on the feature service. I have added a select one question and the choices available in the form will be limited to the domain values I want available for that specific user. I have also included a query expression in each form to only display the values of the field relative to that person This will allow the user to mark there task as finished for example and it will then become available to the next user in the process.

With the collector app and AGOL can I restrict users to only select certain values from a domain list in a field. I know i can control what attributes are displayed and what can be edited via the pop up configurations options but i would like to be able to restrict certain users to only select 2 or 3 possible options from a domain list.The aim is to create a workflow process by where an item is passed on to the next user in the process when a certain value in a domain is selected
