Hi all, Is there a setting or something within the ArcGIS Pro project that sets which python environment is uses? At the moment, I have 2 users environments (one for the Utility Network Foundation and the other for running scripts in VS code) as they have very different requirements and don't want to have package dependences version issues with the main tools that I'm using. I'm currently using ArcGIS Pro 2.4 with ArcGIS Enterprise 10.7.1 Thanks

Hi there, I having issues in assigning categories to portal groups using the Python API 1.6.2 and ArcGIS Enterprise 10.7.1. According to the API docs, the CategorySchemaManager helper class is created and called categories , is available as a property on gis.content or on gis.groups. My portal groups configuration (title, etc) is stored in a json file (see below for example) and I'm reading & loading using the standard import json lib, etc. The above code works very well in creating the group & setting the Delete Protection checkbox. I added the following line of code and the script still runs with no errors, etc group.categories.schema=group_config["categories"] But the Category section for the Group is still blank as you can see because the 'Set up group categories' button is present Do I have to assign the category a different way or is there an issue? Thanks

Is there any documentation/diagram on the roadmap for the utility network foundation? The reason for asking is - there was significant changes to structure/container down to AT, new related tables for crossarms, etc. i can see some more significant changes to these related tables in the future to make them more useful (eg. Further normalisation, completing capabilities - adding ElectricLine/Crossarm relationship) and also to see what new capability to strip out to make the model less complicated (eg. Remove cablemountdetail table, remove phasesummer, phasewinter, etc.) thanks

Hi all, I'm looking at the new Electric Utility Network Foundation Naperville demo data and have noticed Some relationship classes under the feature dataset and some are not The tables become versioned when the dataset is versioned. Assume this is done due to the relationship class There are 2 relationship classes doing the same thing Without knowing what tools are available to manage the data in these related tables as I can't find any documentation on these, is there standard/preferred way of how this should be structured as the current layout of the feature classes/tables looks misleading? My original thought would be to have all feature classes, relationship classes and tables that participate in the UNF would be placed all under the feature dataset. Also, Based on what is currently there, can anybody expand the capability with user defined tables & relationship classes? Thanks

Robert, I believe this capability exists in the latest release of ArcGIS Pro relating to the Utility Network. I saw a demo from Esri Inc using a V2.4 pre release where the user selected an OH line in the 3D scene and traced the network showing the results along the 3D rendered view of the network

John, I have submitted a few issues on the github repo site that I have noticed/after at the moment. Is there a alpha/beta program relating to the model that people can join to comment, etc. on further releases? Thanks

With the release of electric utility network foundation (eg UNM V3.0), where can I find the diagram of the data model showing the new relationships of all the new related tables for conductor material, crossarm, etc? I found the data dictionary but not the updated diagram. Thanks

Vish, Thanks for the link to your other thread. This has been driving me nuts over the past few weeks. To me it appears there are still underlying bugs still within untools 2.3.3. I know a bug relating to geographic coordinates was introduced into 2.3.2 and fixed with other issues in 2.3.3. I'm hoping all of this is fixed when ArcGIS Pro 2.4 & untools 2.4 is released. Paul, Is there a 'What's New in Utility Network' page somewhere that goes through all of the above you mentioned (eg. advantage of new geodatabase, UN functionality) to help explain what the changes are? I know about the pages that contain the release notes for the model (http://solutions.arcgis.com/electric/help/electric-utility-network-configuration/get-started/release-notes-for-2-0.htm) & here for untools (https://solutions.arcgis.com/utilities/help/utility-network-automation/get-started/release-notes-2-3-0.htm). Was hoping for a more consolidated approach and how it all ties in together especially with the geodatabase advances. Thanks

Udaya, If you like some help, you'll need to provide more information and do some more reading on the documentation pages (eg. Get started with the Electric Utility Network Configuration). Adding the python package doesn't give you access to the ArcGIS Pro packages for the different models. I have replied to your other post about the models.

Srinivas, When you read through the Getting Started documentation (http://solutions.arcgis.com/electric/help/electric-utility-network-configuration/get-started/get-started-overview.htm), there is a step where they talk about setting up the Solutions Deployment addin which allows you to download the sample dataset and ArcGIS Pro package

Michael, Are you able to go into more detail about the schema/domain changes? I would consider a schema change to be significant and be a mandatory requirement to upgrade the asset package. Just trying to understand the changes and that only a warning comes up and to me that suggests its not important to upgrade. Hope that makes sense. Thanks

I have downloaded the latest UNM for electric from arcgis.com and the info within the version table has it as V2 with V2.0.1 model. When using the Apply Asset Package gap tool, it brings up a warning about not being the latest version and to use to Upgrade gp tool. When an upgrade is done, the version has it as 2.3 with 2.0.1 model. Is there a list of what the Upgrade tool does to lift 2.0 to 2.3? Is it adding new fields, changing data types, adding/removing attribute rules, changing arcade expressions, adding/removing edge/junction rules, changing asset group/asset types? Thanks
