We have an important traffic count map for the state of Texas in AGO. The person that created the Web Map Application has moved on to another job. He did change ownership of the group but could not change the ownership of the Web Map. This is a very complex map. We need to be able to copy it from year to year. Starting from scratch would be bad. Does anyone know how to get the other person off the map so I can work on it?

It's been a year since I appended annotation in ArcGIS Pro. So, what I am seeing in the geoprocessing box is that you have to make a new annotation and then append it to the original annotation. I thought you could update by file database. This is what I am doing in case there is an easier way for me. I have a File geodatabase with the feature class of count stations with feature linked annotation to that count station feature class. Every year we have new counts that need to be updated to the annotation. Is there a way to update the counts in the feature class that will also update the annotation?

It has been a year since I appended annotation in Pro. I found the append tool but I am a little confused. It is asking for an annotation feature to make the append instead of a geodatabase. I thought you updated the geodatabase and then appended the annotation? Please explain. Thanks.

I am not finding the point to point attribute transfer tool. Has it not been added yet to ArcGIS Pro.

I have a geodatabase with traffic counts and their annotation. I want to change the annotation for another project with truck counts. Can I use the same geodatabase and annotation but just change the counts. I can't lose the information though on the first project of traffic counts. Meaning, if I change these counts in the truck project will the traffic project change as well. Hope that makes sense.

In the past with ArcMAP, as long as you grabbed the main folder with everything inside you could move it anywhere you wanted to work. Such as, to a external or another computer. I moved the whole main folder on my ArcGIS Pro project and all of the layers are disconnected. How does Pro work on moving your project??

All my work is in Pro already. I don’t need to upgrade the geodatabase. It’s already updated to the 2.1 ArcGIS Pro version. I need to update the feature class inside the geodatabase that the annotation is attached to.

In ArcGIS Pro, I know that the annotation is now updated automatically. Because of this how do you update the feature class in the geodatabase that the annotation is assigned to?

Anyone remember how to remove zeros from in front of a number in a field. For example, I have 00012. I want 12. I forgot the formula in the field calculator.

I have a layout that has a lot of maps on it. I am trying to do some zoom to selection on one of the maps. When I start it takes me to the activated contents of just that map. Which is fine but when I do zoom to it moves my map. I have it positioned perfectly for view I can't have it moving. Is there a way to lock the map so it just zooms it doesn't change the picture of the map? For example, it is the state of Texas and I have it positioned perfectly in the frame.

It works everywhere now. So, I learned a lesson it needs some number in the conversion scale box. Not zero. Michelle Couden Cartographer Certified GIS Analyst TPP Wellness Contact Transportation Planning and Programming Traffic Analysis Section (512)486-5136 Watch for Cyclists!
