(edited) In Experience Builder, we can use floating widgets. But it's my understanding that the widgets can't be docked to a side of the map as a pane. I would like to dock two Editor widgets as panes, one Editor widget as a right-side pane, and another as a left-side pane. Ideally, the panes would be collapsible.

As far as I can tell, there isn't a way to restrict field editing for specific fields in an AGOL web map. Could that functionality be added? Related: AGOL question: How to restrict editing by field? Experience Builder idea: Disable editing for specific fields in Editor widget

In an Editor widget in Experience Builder, I want to see all fields, but restrict editing to certain fields. For example, with a Survey123 feature layer in Experience Builder, I want users to see all fields, but only edit the STATUS field, not any of the others. As far as I can tell, there isn't a way to restrict field editing for specific fields in Experience Builder or in a web map. Could that functionality be added? As @AlixVezina mentioned in Copy Features for Experience Builder: Copy and Paste in now available in Experience Builder in ArcGIS Online. It will also be available in Enterprise 12.1 which is targeted for May 2026. You can find it in the Edit widget, when using "Interact with a Map widget" Mode. The option is at the bottom of the Content panel, as part of the Advanced editing tools.

I have two editor widgets open, each for editing a different feature layer. I want to copy a feature from one editor widget and paste it into the other editor widget. Currently, I can only paste using the template button, not the plain paste button; the plain paste button is greyed out. The template button works, but requires too many clicks, considering it's a simple paste operation. See the conversation with @AlixVezina in What are the rules when copying/pasting a feature into a different feature layer? Copying a feature using one Edit widget and then Pasting it using another Edit widget is not a workflow we are currently supporting. Alix also has a screen recording of my workflow.

@AlixVezina I'll send a screen recording video in a private message that shows what I'm doing. But in summary, I have a Survey123 layer containing survey submissions of Indigenous artifact points. A staff member will review each survey point using Editor Widget #1 and edit the status field to be "Approved" if the Indigenous artifact is deemed valid, so that it's symbolized differently on the map and the user knows it's already been reviewed. Then they'll copy the feature. Then, using Editor Widget #2, they'll paste the feature into a different External Map layer. And make edits to the attributes, as they likely need some cleanup/refining. This layer is served up to the public in a web map on a public web page. As mentioned, both Editor Widgets are always open, with the idea that it's more intuitive for non-GIS users. The reason we have two separate layers is: We want to keep a copy of the original raw/unedited survey submission for future reference.

Thanks @AlixVezina. I don't think either of these points applies to my case. I'm able to paste using a template, but not using the plain Paste button. Note: The destination layer doesn't have all the fields from the source layer. And some of the destination text fields are shorter than the source fields. Do you know why the Paste button is greyed out in this case? Edit: I'm using two separate Editor widgets, both open at the same time.

In the Editor Widget properties in Experience Builder: It's not obvious that this icon/text in the web map picklist is actually a button. I'm wondering if anything can be done in the UI to make it clearer that it's a clickable button. I've wasted some time looking for this functionality, not realizing that icon/text could be clicked.

What are the rules when copying/pasting a feature into a different feature layer, using the Editor widget? Does a destination text field need to be as long (or longer) than the source field? Will the destination field be blank if it is shorter than the source field? Related: Copy Features for Experience Builder. Under what conditions would the Paste button in a different feature layer be available?
