Same problem here. Editing features over network in a SQL 2008 R2 database, and ESRI 10.2. Direct connect OS authentication. Can turn of snapping and it still hangs. Editor can be editing fine, but then selects a line and it just spins for a minute, then finally selects. ... View more

Hello, any idea if a fix is in the works for this?                                                                                                                                                            sorry for the delayed reply.  i did some more testing and confirmed that this is a REST problem (as opposed to a problem in the JS API).  it seems that currently ArcGIS Server does not honor transparency defined as an alpha value within a RGB color symbol for feature service layers. you can see this problem by removing the .TXT extension from the attached .webmap file (which has identical contents to the webmap JSON we pass to ArcGIS Server when printing) and dragging and dropping itdirectly into ArcMap. "symbol" : {     "color" : [0, 255, 0, 128], //128 (or 50% transparency) is replaced by 255     "outline" : {         "color" : [0, 0, 0, 128],  //128 (or 50% transparency) is replaced by 255         "width" : 2,         "type" : "esriSLS",         "style" : "esriSLSSolid"     },     "type" : "esriSFS",     "style" : "esriSFSSolid" }, even though an alpha transparency of 128 is specified for the symbol fill color, the layer is completely opaque in ArcMap [ATTACH=CONFIG]25482[/ATTACH] since your sample app passes a collection of graphics instead of a feature service layer, you get around this limitation (but encounter another).  ive asked the developers to update the Export Web Map Spec to acknowledge the limitation i found.  sorry for the inconvenience. ... Does the arcgis server account have read privileges to the directory where the .sde connection file is stored? Also, be sure you have the 64-bit SQL Server native client installed on the ArcGIS for Server machine: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=16978 If the arcgis server account is a loca acount on the server, does an identical account need to be created on my local computer? Hi Karyn, Do you have access to the Production Mapping extension? There is a dynamic table called the Graphic Table Element that is part of this extension that works well in conjunction with data driven pages. It makes it possible to include a table on your map layout that updates based on the content of the current page extent.
