"The error is caused by using a form_id..." The form_id is the name that will be used for the FGDB when it's exported is that going to affect anything else? Can you leave the form_id empty?

Thanks Rachel, Yes agreed Arcgis Office is quite useful indeed. However in our case we are having to update data tables from multiple surveys and image attachments built with Collector and survey123. By using PowerQuery you can access the arc Rest to access tables and attachments without having to do much coding at all, pretty nifty.

Wondering how others have used Excel with Arcgis Online, since this is a common query from clients. I've been using Power Query ( see this excellent walk through) wth Arcgis and it's very easy to setup. Thanks,

I've used survey start time, (type: start, name:start_surey), that way the date never changes.

Have you tried the Bar code reader app? Most, if not all, information on an ID card is found in the barcode found on the cards.

Hi James, no problem with the built-in bar scanning per se simply a code example... The idea would be to connect to a scanner type app (i.e. camscanner), take a picture of all the pages of the document, make a pdf document, then somehow send it back as an attachment for survey123, or attach it manually. At the moment we've been using image on a repeat. I'm open to suggestions... Thanks,

Would it be possible to attach a pdf instead of a jpg inside survey123 application. The idea would be to have the person use a camscanner type application then attach the document to a survey. I can see that it is possible through the survey123 desktop application, however the android survey123 only returns images. I suppose if the extension .pdf was modified to a .jpg it could work. Thanks,

Without having tested 2.6 as our tablets are still on a previous version, are the pictures taken through survey123 still saved in "survey attachment" folder or are they saved in DCIM?

Hi Philip, I don't see the browse button in the android gallery version2.6. I can see that it points to the camera folder (DCIM), as I can see images that are in the folder. Is it possible to change the path to another folder?

Similar idea but appending two identical hosted layers with related tables. ESRI support has filed it under BUG-000102178. Hoping for a resolution as this is a fairly common workflow.

I am trying to use the "Move to" tool (absolute) to move a point to another coordinate but I can't seem to be able to move my point to the correct utm location in metric. It should be simple enough; i want my point to this utm coordinate.

Having the same problem. This is a survey that was published in November and wanted to add some choices and external choices. I don't have any associated views.

Indeed, It would have to be a dedicated scanning device. Like you mentioned the finger print scanner on most, if not all, devices is not made to be used that way, at least I didn't find anything yet.
