In that first picture, where are you configuring that editor tracking at? I've noticed that if you enable editor tracking in the enterprise gdb, then publish as an editable service, all the edits made show the same user name....which is the one you used when publishing the service.

This is a very far fetched idea, and likely the very antithesis of a web app, but I will ask regardless in order to show due diligence. I'm expecting the group will echo what I already believe to be true...and possibly receive some public shaming. How far from impossible is it to allow users in an organization to "save" their working settings of a web app? For example, if a particular users job requires them to focus on a specific geographic area, working with a subset of layers that are in the web app, what would it take to allow them to load the app where they left off, zoomed in to an area, with the exact layers on that they need? Currently, the app loads at a national extent with the most common layers turned on by default, but we're getting pushback from the non-gis users that they are annoyed with having to zoom to their specific area-of-interest each time and go through the *laborious* process of checking layers off and on. This would be similar to the "save as" function present in the Portal map viewer, but that's a completely different setup. I'm expecting there's no real one size fits all solution to appeasing the customers and having the functionality, but no harm in asking...

I have a very strong GIS/esri background, but next to no experience with programming and coding. Using the WAB out of the box is definitely suited best for someone in a GIS capacity rather a non-GIS web developer. When requests come in for custom functionality, though, it's sort of a sticky situation when you're not a developer. In previous organizations, "GIS developers" have been brought on staff who actually had no GIS experience. It's a shame when an entry level "technician" has sit to down and teach the GIS developer what a clip function is, not to mention a waste of company dollars.

Similar issue, so posting here. I've got a couple GP services published and shared with Portal. If using WAB built in to Portal, the geoprocessing widget config finds the GP services in my content and loads the task without fail. However, when connecting through WAB Dev 1.2, the GP service shows up on my content (because it's connected to Portal) but can't load the task correctly. It just shows a progress bar and continues to spin as if loading. If you add via service REST URL, the same issue presents itself. See image, WAB dev isn't recognizing the hierarchy of a task inside a service. Via Portal WAB: Via WAB Dev 1.2

With WAB Dev release 1.2, the geoprocessing widget can accept user input files, so long as the GP service has upload capability enabled.
