Hi Maria. If you are working in ArcGIS Pro, importing SVG files is preferable to building glyphs in a font. You'll want to use the "shape marker from file" option when you build marker symbol layers in your point symbols. Hi David. I am having a hard time either reproducing or understanding your example. In your example, do you have the imagery and the parcels combined together into a group layer? And the group layer is transparency 75% and the parcels 0% transparency? If so, I can't reproduce in ArcMap. With this scenario, the parcels are still partially transparent. Hi Dake,  This is true if you run the tool in ArcMap. ArcGIS Pro does not process representations in the same way. In ArcGIS Pro, the geometry overrides are not considered and this tool runs on the feature geometry only. ... View more

Hello Mehrshad.  It looks like you are using graduated colors symbology? There are a few ways you can change the range of what you see in the legend in ArcGIS Pro. To change actual values, on the Symbology pane, on the Classes tab, click the Upper value cells to type new values. Alternatively, you can change the symbol class boundaries by click-dragging the boundary values on the Histogram tab.  To change the wording or formatting of the labels (without changing class boundaries), on the Classes tab, click a cell in the Label column and type a new label. Optionally, click the More menu and click Show values out of range to add a symbol class for any features that fall outside of your defined range.  See Graduated colors—ArcGIS Pro | ArcGIS Desktop for more information. Hello,  Sorry for the confusion. "Measured in points" means points as in the map units. Points is a measurement commonly used in typography, but we also use it in symbology. Hi Jessie,  We are hoping to add functionality soon to allow you to store styles in your Project favorites. In the meantime, a workaround is to save a project template with the styles you want, and start each new project from that template. Hi Patrick,  If you import a map or scene with "old" symbols, they will be updated withing the map/scene to the current version. If you add an "old" style, as you have done, you get the option (in your screenshot) to upgrade the style.  If you choose No, you can still use the style as normal-- pick symbols from galleries and apply them to layer, etc. You can then edit them within the layers. But you won't be able to make edits to the contents of the style itself.  If you choose Yes, you can use the style as normal AND you can make any changes you like to the style. I answered a similar question elsewhere in this forum, but keep an eye out for skills that don't seem cartography-related. These include graphic design (page composition), typography, color theory, statistics... Also, as others said... find maps that resonate with you-- even if they are old. Take a long hard look and try to figure out what makes it work. Is it the colors? The typefaces? The way  the numeric data is presented?
