We just recently upgraded from 10.3 to 10.5 and noticed a python script started failing. Based on investigation this class, arcsdesqlexeCute, is causing the issue. For some reason, the returned rows from using this class cannot read date values. Testing on 10.3 arcpy installation, this same workflow runs fine and returns date values properly. Just want to check if this is a bug. Thanks

Hi Abdullah, We currently have an activity that requires an operator to select manually segments to build a route. Normally in an FGDB data you can simply hold down shift key and select away but when using an SDE feature, that interactive selection does not work. So even holding down shift key does not let you keep your initial selection.

Hi everyone, We have featureclasses on a 10.3 sde database. When I add it to an ArcMap session and try to select multiple objects interactively using the mode mentioned above, it clears the previous selections and just retains the recent selected object. Cannot seem to figure out what the source of the issue is. When I export the dataset to an FGDB the selection is fine. The press "SHIFT" and select does not also work when using SDE featureclass. For tables, no issues selecting or adding to currently selected. Hope to get some inputs. Thanks. Regards

Hi guys, I seem to be running on an issue with the python script I am running to update a hosted feature service in AGOL using a publisher account. My script (actually from Kevin Hibma) is configured to make the hosted feature service shared with org and public. But everytime I run it, my feature service is shared to org only. So I checked and logged in to AGOL using the publisher account and tried sharing but I can only see Org and no option for Public. I checked documentation and it says Publisher role can share to public. So I'm quite puzzled by this. Am I missing something? I use and admin account, I can share the item to public.

Hi guys, We have UAT Portal and Production Portal (version 10.3), I was just wondering if anyone has already attempted to copy items from one portal to another, either thru automation or whatever. This idea is because sometime after publishing a service in our UAT portal, I create a webmap, classify the map services ins such a way and create custom popup layouts. Now if I want to migrate this to our Production portal after my client approved the UAT content, I don't want to go thru the process of setting up the webmap and pop-ups from scratch. Anyone can give advice? Cheers

I see, thanks Robert, I thought they just added that in starting at wab dev 2.0. If I use wab dev 1.3, no issues and works fine with our portal. That is why I was wondering if there was a different implementation of security running between wab dev 1.3 and 2.0. Were still on portal 10.3, not sure how to check if CORS is enabled for that portal server. Does the CORS have to be applied for both portal and ArcGIS server box? Could you point me to a documentation where this is discussed?

Hi guys, this might not be related to the original question, but I was trying to figure out how I can disable this cors check on our internal portal server since I think cors was not enabled on it. Whenever we connect wab dev 2.1 to this internal portal it throws an xmlhttprequest error and access-origin header not found. So I was thinking of disabling something in wab dev 2.1 config to not check if our portal is cors-enabled. hope you can help me understand this as well. thanks

Hi Derek, After some research, I've come to some theory on what are issue here in our organization. Looking at the logs shown by the chrome dev tools, I am hitting an error on xmlhttprequest and messages like "No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource". I've read some threads and it points to a situation when the app using JSAPI tries to check the server with the content if its enabled for CORS. If the server is not enabled for CORS, it trhows this error. I tested it using our organizational account in AGOL and wab dev 2.0 and 2.1 works, because I believe AGOL servers have CORS enabled. I suspect wab dev 1.3 does not check CORS enabled automatically which is why it runs fine with our portal. But wab dev 2.0 and 2.1 seems to have this configured by default. My question is, if my suspicions are correct, how can I disable this CORS checking on the wab dev 2.x config settings? I've seen threads where the developers can do this on their custom js apps. Thanks, Chris

Hi Derek, when you say disconnected, what does that actually mean? Apologies since Im a bit confused what the term means. Here in our organization we access internet thru a proxy server.we can access our agol accounts fine. If we use wab dev 1.3, it connects smoothly with our internal portal, w/c is why im a bit surprised the latest release has issues with our 10.3 portal.

Hi Derek, - No changes were made to our portal as far as I know, when I launch 1.3 it still works as expected. Only when I use 2.0 and now 2.1, I encounter the said XMLHttpRequest error. - Our portal is working behind a firewall. We are a government organization. - I think we are using web tier authentication, sorry I'm not an admin for our portal, but this is what I see on the cmd console when I launch WAB 1.3. But since our portal works with 1.3, then I was assuming there was some authentication implementation change on 2.0 and 2.1. I read about CORS but I'm not that experienced in troubleshooting such stuff. Is there a tweak we need to do in any of the config files of wab 2.0 or 2.1? Thanks, Chris P
