It’s as if ArcGIS Pro has no consistent behavior when working with model builder. This frustrating error is illogical and frequently appears without any clear reason.

It seems that I'm unable to clearly explain the issue.

What’s frustrating is that ArcGIS Pro—specifically the model builder—is not stable. With the same settings, it sometimes works as if there were never an issue. Then, after a while, running the model again triggers the same error. Is this a bug? We never encountered such issues in ArcMap when working with rasters.

But the physical source of each layer in the Contents pane is known, so it is assumed that the layer is recognized based on its physical location on the drive.

Thanks, Alfred Baldenweck. The issue was that once the “Georeference” button is clicked, the imagery disappears, and you're not given the option to perform the georeferencing steps.

Here, the “integer” tool fails to respect the “scratch workspace” set in the environment. Is this by design?

What could be the issue here?

This error appears to have nothing to do with either the name or the path of the input/output folders, as shown in the screenshot below.

From the symbology, the bands representing the RGB channels are set. For example, in the screenshot below, Red is assigned to Band 4, Green to Band 5, and Blue to Band 7. Additionally, the datasheet of the imagery should indicate what each band represents
