Hi Dan, From the very beginning, the issue has not been with how the equation is written. The problem can be reproduced by using the same equation—once with a mask applied and once without.

Right. All the inputs, intermediate layers, and outputs have a 32-bit pixel depth, as shown in the screenshots below. The data is attached.

Hi Dan, The issue shouldn’t be related to how the equation is written in the Raster Calculator, as the same equation works fine when the mask is left blank. If you're interested in the equation itself, the reference is: Goodenough, D.G., Bhogal, A.S., Dyk, A., Apps, M., Hall, R., Tickle, P., Chen, H., Butler, K., & Gim, M. (2000, July). I changed -0.149068 to -0.15 in the classification, and the classes were then created as expected. This seems like strange behavior in Pro—could it be a bug? Why isn’t -0.149068 recognized as a value in the first class?

Does it indicate anything that the cell taking the value 0 originally had a value of -0.149068, which is the minimum value in the original raster? Why is a separate class automatically created for this value?

ArcGIS Pro 3.4.2: Setting a mask brings “ERROR 000539” when performing the “raster calculator” tool, In the screenshots below, if the mask is set to the “LandsatTM2001.img” raster, then performing the “raster calculator” tool results in “ERROR 000539”. If the mask is left blank, the “raster calculator” tool works successfully. What could be the issue here? The data is attached

I set the 'New' value for NODATA to 7. However, the Reclassify tool produces 4 classes, even though the number of classes is set to 3, as shown in the screenshots below. What could be the reason behind the class with the value '0'?

You are right. I recreated everything from scratch—aprx, atbx, model, scratch workspace gdb, etc.—and found that everything appears to be working as expected

ArcGIS Pro 3.4.2: Reclassifying a raster into two classes results in three, In the screenshots below, I attempted to classify a raster into two classes using the “Reclassify” tool, but the output ends up with three classes. What could be causing this issue? The data raster is attached.

ArcGIS Pro 3.4.2: The pop-up fails to return values for the cells of band 5 obtained from a six-band imagery, In the screenshots below, I couldn’t figure out why the pop-up fails to return values for the cells of band 5 obtained from a six-band imagery. Band 5 was obtained using the “make raster layer” and “copy raster” tools. This happens even though the pop-up is able to return values for all other bands extracted using the same technique. What could be the issue here? The imagery is attached

It is very frustrating that the behavior is not stable. Now, the pop-up is able to retrieve values from three rasters out of four! By the way, I observed the following: If the pop-up is unable to retrieve a value for a particular raster, two things happen: Exporting the layout of that raster as a PDF results in a file where the raster is not displayed. If the “Classify” method is used as the symbology method, the raster disappears. It’s like a syndrome—with no clear reason for this strange behavior!
