*.MDB is actually a Personal geodatabase (Access Database) MDF is the datafile for a SQL Server database. The use of the term MDF is actually not correct in that other thread, as one cannot copy data from an MDF file directly to a File gdb. They are rather copying data from the SDE Connection(s) to a File GDB (FGDB).

From a quick test, it seems the behaviour is not same in an Oracle Enterprise gdb. A Feature Class created in an Oracle sde gdb, does not have the ObjectID as a Primary Key.

What is an ObjectID?—Help | ArcGIS Desktop An ObjectID is a unique, not null integer field used to uniquely identify rows in tables in a geodatabase. ObjectIDs are limited to 32-bit values, which store a maximum value of 2,147,483,647. So this satisfies the requirement for an ObjectID atleast. Yes, they may not be the same and hence the question could be "Why does ArcGIS create a Primary Key in case of Feature Classes, but a Unique Index in case of Geodatabase Tables?"

Check if the suggestions in the below link helps: AGOL replica removal You can see all the replicas when you go to the feature service and check out the replicas through the replica link on your feature service at the REST endpoint. http://servername/arcgis/rest/services/layername/featureserver/replicas If hosted on AGOL: Go to the feature service you are trying to update within AGOL layers tab. Click on source 'feature service' which is part of the name header above the social media links. Click on the 'replicas' link. This will only exist if there are replicas existing. This will show you the replica ID codes. You can click on them individually to see information on them such as the username associated with it and the date it was created.

Well that was one reason, why I suggested creating a copy in the same sde gdb. The Check\Repair is automatically done while loading data in an sde gdb. So that doesn't seem to be the cause of this issue.

No, you cannot use the "Create Replica" tool in ArcCatalog to create a disconnected replica. The only way to create a disconnected replica, is to use the "Create Replica Wizard" in ArcMap.

By SQL.sde, I am assuming that you are referring to a SQL Server enterprise geodatabase....correct me if that is not the case. What do you mean by the sql.sde feature class no longer contains any of the data now found in the file geodatabase Do you mean there is a mismatch in the number of records? Did you check the data in the sde gdb before performing the Copy\Paste? Copying a Feature Class, cannot delete data from inside, on its own. So surely, there is more to it, if indeed data is missing. Make sure, you are not connected to a different Version in the sde gdb, while checking the data.
