Alright ya'll after hours of testing this, I think I found a workaround for this issue: In ArcGIS Online MapViewer, access the form settings for your parent point layer. Add a 'text type' field to your parent point layer form (it can be any field that already exists in your dataset).  Set the max length of that field to be "0" and make the field required   Set the visibility of this field to be "GlobalID is EMPTY"- since global IDs aren't generated until an edit is submitted, this will ensure it shows up when trying to edit a point and doesn't show up on your related records form   Now when users try to edit the parent point they are unable to and receive this error. Alas, they are unable to enter anything into the required field because it's restricted to ZER0: (tested in both Map Viewer and Instant Apps)     I fully acknowledge this is a super stupid workaround but it works, and solves the problem.  Ideally Esri should look into this issue, and create a workflow for those who only need related records editing (and not the points) but that's a different challenge.  Hope this helps someone out there! This doesn't quite work for the new map viewer. With this setting, editing is completely disabled for both parent and related table.  In order to edit the related table (and see the edit button) you need to have editing enabled on the parent point layer. That being said, back to the initial post- we need the ability to add/update related records but not allow parent layer geometry edits. It may be worth looking into Catalog Layers in ArcGIS Pro, this is a new functionality that sounds like it may accomplish what you're looking for(?) https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/mapping/layer-properties/catalog-layers.htm   I'm not sure how it works in the online environment, but if you're looking to make static map products this may help.    Best,  Amanda Huber ... Hello,  Updating this thread-  We've upgraded to Enterprise 11.2 and we are now able to see the ability to edit related records. For those who stumble across this, here is more documentation for this functionality :  https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/create-maps/create-form-mv.htm  Something that I didn't find clear though, that I hope this post saves you some time (maybe I missed it)- When you're creating the form for the related table you need to: Ensure both Points and related tables are in the map viewer (this is documented) Add the related table to the form for the points feature layer (this sets up the form relationship) see diagram below:     1. Add the relationship to your parent layer form:    3. Go to the table in the map viewer and add the fields to the related table & configure conditions from here   Once you save the map, the related table fields will be visible in other applications when editing the parent point layer's information:  (add new record or edit existing)   Hope this helps someone who comes across this!  Best,  Amanda Huber       ... This is a great workaround for quickly viewing graphics, but unfortunately screen readers cannot read images like PDFs. So any text on your map is lost for those with accessibility needs.  Alternate text would fill that gap but not be comprehensive as it can't capture everything that's in the map.  Just something to think about! ...
