Hi James Tedrick I'm using Beta v3.1.65 and still experiencing this issue. My parent questions are populated from the values already in the feature service when loaded through the inbox. I then attempt to use a calculation, inside of a repeat, to populate a select_one with a value from the parent. I get nothing. Additionally, simple functions such as 'now()' as well as other calculations (wholly contained) within my repeat are also failing.

Hello James Tedrick / Ismael Chivite / Marika Vertzonis I'm currently testing the beta 3.1.65 release that includes full GNSS metadata capabilities. I have my locational accuracy set to 1ft, and love that Survey123 will ping my GPS receiver until it reaches that threshold then lock in those values. However, what would also be excellent is if GPS Averaging could be initiated without any user input, as Larry Wiebe requests above. Ideally, this may be triggered based on if the survey detects either: If I detect I'm using an external GPS receiver and I have ${sourceTypy) ='RTK' then I want ${accuracyThreshold} < 1ft. If i detect I'm using an internal GPS receiver, or my external receiver does not have RTK service, I want averaging to kick-in and my accuracyThreshold = 5ft Furthermore, is there already some method to capture the number of positions used to capture an averaged location? If so, I can't find any info on how to get it. I can't emphasize enough how valuable a "fall back" option such as this would be. It would add significant value to the ability of Survey123 to leverage external GPS receivers which commonly require cellular connectivity to get subfoot accuracies. Knowing I could automatically switch to the averaging option (and not have to rely on field crews to do it for me) would be awesome! I do think I could rig something up through the use of TWO GeoPoints - making one relevant based on the receiver type and/or ${sourceType}. However, that's a major pain as then I need to query two GeoPoints to determine where I get values such as Lat/Long etc.

Yeah, that's helpful to know it's not possible. I suspect this is another attempt to stymie attempts to move our field crews workflows forward and onto newer technology. Thanks

Hi Marika Vertzonis Is there a way to shift the entire "select_one" check box over too? I have right-handers who are complaining....:)

James Tedrick / Ismael Chivite Can I ask you to comment on the fact that my concatenated <center/> tag won't work? everything else does; font color, bolding etc.... concat("<center><font color='red'><b>HORIZONTAL ACCURACY OF ", ${HORIZONTAL}, " IS INSUFFICIENT</b><font><center>")

Hmmm...struggling to wrap my head around this one. If I understand what you're saying: {QUANTITY1} is an INT question and if left blank records as null. I want to prevent this and ensure there's always a number greater than 0 in there. If "the string-length function will return 0 for null or NaN values" then I need to set my constraint to check the string-length for 0, and if true, fire the constraint message. I use this expression to check that if the user has indicated they've used materials, they can't leave the quantity blank: if(selected(${MATERIALS_USED}, 'YES'), string-length(${QUANTITY1})!=0, true()) However, it fails to fire the constrain if {MATERIALS_USED} = 'YES' and {QUANTITY1} is left blank. I've asked this in a similar thread here. Thanks

James Tedrick Can you supply an example of the syntax for 'NaN' within a constraint? I'm struggling to get it right. As you indicate above it's part of the string-length function. The documentation also states that "The NaN value compared to any other value will only be true in a calculation of an "is not equal" value comparison. All other expressions will result in false." As such, I came up with the below but it fails to trigger the constraint if {QUANTITY1} is left blank: if(selected(${MATERIALS_USED}, 'YES'), string-length(${QUANTITY1})!=NaN, true()) Thanks

Hi James Tedrick I looked at the Wiki page, but am running into an issue using the below in a calculate for a note: concat("<a href='mailto:Andrew.Hargreaves@xxxxxxx.com", "?Subject=", ${AGO_USER}, "%20needs%20help%20", "%20'%20", ">CLICK HERE TO EMAIL ANDREW DIRECTLY</a>") For your info ${AGO_USER} is a note calculated using 'property('username')'. I keep getting told: Any advice is gratefully received. Thanks

James Tedrick I'm assuming there's no way to include 'utcOffset' within 'now()' ? I tried the below to no success: now(pulldata("@property","utcOffset")) Thanks

Hi I would love to replicate the capability of embedding Image and Audio Media files into a survey but with instructional videos shown as part of notes. Is this possible somehow? I am currently using HTML and hyperlinking out to these videos stored in OneDrive but would prefer them local. Thanks

Michael Kelly can you help me out with a similar issue? I have 10 questions, 5 asking ab out MATERIAL and 5 asking about QUANTITY. I wish to hide each QUANTITY until the MATERIAL question has been chosen. So for QUANTITY2 the below relevant statement works great: ${MATERIALS2}!='PLEASE_ANSWER' and ${MATERIALS2}!=${MATERIALS1} However, for QUANTITY3 the below statement fails to work as expected, with QUANTITY3 appearing as soon as MATERIAL3 is set: (${MATERIALS3}!='PLEASE_ANSWER' and ${MATERIALS3}!=${MATERIALS2}) or (${MATERIALS3}!='PLEASE_ANSWER' and ${MATERIALS3}!=${MATERIALS1}) I've included a sample for you to look at. Thanks
