Sure; You have the ability to bring in additional features to a stored diagram using the append features tool. I have included the online doc for that capability below, but please feel free to reach out if you have additional questions. We are continuing to have questions about functionality with the User Type extension for the ArcGIS Utility Network. To help provide a bit more context I have just published this blog to cover that topic. Please reach out if you have further questions. https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/utility-network/water/exploring-the-arcgis-utility-network-user-type-extension/

Hi @Joshua-Young The Stormwater Foundation model (along with the other Foundation models) is provided as a starting point for your network configuration. You can find an overview of how to add features such as fittings in the online documentation (found here). If you have additional questions or feedback please feel free to contact me.

Hi Serguei; I am not aware of any limitations with branch versioning features rendered in Scene. As always, your best approach is to reach out to Esri Support to be certain that you are not running into a system issue. For feature configuration guidance, I can walk you through some recommendations (just set up a meeting) and to better document the specific UN configurations (usually a function of device or equipment configuration) I will follow up with a blog on best practices for configuring the UN in 3d later this week. Edit: The below screengrab is a 3d UN project in a branch in a child version

Gotcha...I thought I read something about Branches earlier in the tree. Yes please, reach out to Support, they are your quickest way to resolve issues like this.

Hi Yann & Julie, Thanks for reaching out. My first response to this chain is I will have to make a few guesses here. As always, we recommend running something like this past Esri Support, where they can gather very specific details regarding your configuration and system to best respond to your issue. Now with my pitch over (grin), I suspect you are trying to take a branch service (and maybe a utility network type) offline for editing. Unfortunately, at this time REST services with utility networks cannot be packaged for offline editing in mobile applications (or any other applications). It is a capability that the team is working on but is still a bit down the road. If your branch service does not have the utility network, is configured for editing, and does not push your payload to offline apps, then I would reach out to Support to have someone look at what's going on. Also, the blog below could be helpful to dive deeper into Branch Version configurations. https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-pro/data-management/version-administrator-for-branch-versioned-data/

Hi Vish; At this time, controller-based traces such as Upstream or Downstream are regulated by the network controller designated in the Subnetwork properties. Because Subnetwork configurations are limited to a single domain, there is no ability to directionally trace across multiple domains. Considering that Subnetwork configurations were designed to represent the properties of feeders or circuits, I would not anticipate the core including multiple domains in a subnetwork in near or midterm releases. If you have an absolute requirement to build a network that can directionally trace over a combined Sewer and Electric network, you always have the opportunity to integrate the two into a single domain, but I would suggest a lot of testing would be needed to ensure you capture all requirements of such a unique configuration.

Thanks for your Idea submission. As you mentioned there have been significant changes with the release of the UN4; these changes were a result of performance optimizations and the new nonspatial objects. The new dirty area layer is configured to store and maintain the error codes, to provide the network source, and GUID of the error features. This approach was intended to reduce the number of error features and enables network management to be more performant on networks that have a larger number of errors. Since nonspatial objects don’t have geometries, the team decided to include the error management for those objects in a single dirty area layer. As always, we are working to improve the user experience for QA and error management and look forward to seeing your solutions and customers moving into production environment.

Hi Anthony, I don't have access to that site. My original intent was to provide a simple file geodatabase of a configured electric model (based off the solutions site), but instead, I will work with the doc team tomorrow to write a blog about how that demo was configured and how you can build that configuration in any network model. Please feel free to reach out with any other questions. Thanks, Remi

Hi Danny; Those duct bank features were elements of the structure boundary layer in a utility network. Containment associations were used to show the spatial features and nonspatial objects that were represented in each wall of the bank. Please feel free to reach out to me @ Remi Myers if you have more questions.

Hi Jamal; The network rules have changed significantly from the geometric network to the utility network. With the release of ArcGIS Pro 2.6, you may want to explore the trace network as an option for your network requirements. The trace network has tools to enable you to convert geometric networks directly into trace network formats with more simple schemas and trace directions as a function of the direction of the line edit. I would encourage you to watch Larry's trace network overview during our session during the virtual UC (below). During the ArcGIS Pro 2.6 release the trace network also has flow arrows (as per your other Geonet post). https://userconference2020.schedule.esri.com/schedule/1098813612

Hi Naveen; As you transition your ArcGIS Utility Network license from a server type (pre-ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8), to a User Type Extension (post-ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8) the utility network extensions should be provisioned via a license file to your organization. That license file is appended to your ArcGIS Enterprise and distributed by your organization's administrators. If you have questions, I would certainly have your organization reach out to your partner rep for further guidance. Thanks, Remi
