@PabloCuadrado, Correct, user with type Viewer without an Advanced Editing User Type extension (replaces Utility Network, Trace Network, and Parcel Fabric extensions) is able to trace features.

ArcGIS Enterprise 11.2 depreciated the ArcGIS Utility Network User Type extension and replaced it with the Advanced Editor User Type extension. Post ArcGIS Enterprise 11.2 trace operations no longer need a Advanced Editor User Type extension.

As mentioned in (https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-pro-ideas/pls-cadd/idi-p/9385580 PLSCadd exports to dxf and a range of spreadsheets which are already available via the ArcGIS Enterprise. If interoperability is needed FME by Safe Software could certainly be an option.

PLS-CADD exports to DXF and pole spotting list such as MS Excel or other tables which can already be loaded in ArcGIS Pro. If further interoperability is needed, FME by Safe Software could be a viable option.

Hi @RomuldKiobya; while the team is looking into this issue, it would be very helpful if you were to submit a case through Support, and if possible, provide data and a map for our team to investigate this issue further. Thanks, Remi

There is no out-of-the-box process that takes a CIM export and imports it into a UN model. Since you have Safe FME, you could model a workbench that could possibly take your specific CIM exports back to a network model but that would be highly dependent upon your organization's data requirements. Your best path forward would be to consult with a business partner such as Similix.

Hi Acharya; It's hard to guess the specific issue going on without looking at your network configuration. Unfortunately, once a tier is configured as Hierarchial, it can't be changed to a partitioned tier. I would strongly reach out to Esri Support and let them take a look at whats going on with your prototype.

Hi. As you probably know, licensing for ArcGIS Pro/ArcGIS Enterprise is composed of four elements. 1) the user identity, 2) the Pro license (basic, standard, advanced), 3) the capabilities (view, editor, creator) and 4) any extensions (such as the Utility Network). The basic license for ArcGIS Pro is exactly what it says, it is a basic configuration that lets you have basic map components and elements but is very limited on advanced capabilities (such as the UN tools exposed in the Ribbon or GP toolbox). For more details regarding the ArcGIS Pro licensing levels, I recommend this documentation. The ArcGIS Utility Network Extension provides access to the functionality on the server side but has no ability to provide capability that is driven by licensing on the ArcGIS Pro side. So you might ask, why did you include it in that statement, well, if someone were to write an add-in for UN-type capability it could work along the lines of a viewer role; we don't constrain that behavior, but we don't provide the tools to enable it. ArcGIS Pro at the Basic level does not allow editing in a multiuser environment, so it is not available for editing. If you have more questions about your licensing, I strongly recommend reaching out to your sales manager for more details and I apologize for the confusion in the blog.

Sure; You have the ability to bring in additional features to a stored diagram using the append features tool. I have included the online doc for that capability below, but please feel free to reach out if you have additional questions. We are continuing to have questions about functionality with the User Type extension for the ArcGIS Utility Network. To help provide a bit more context I have just published this blog to cover that topic. Please reach out if you have further questions. https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/utility-network/water/exploring-the-arcgis-utility-network-user-type-extension/
