Hi Kristian, Sorry you've not been able to find the right info so far - I'd love to work with you and Esri UK directly to find out what we can do to better help you and others in future - please contact me via [email protected]. The first part is finding out what license level you need - and it looks like you've already been able to determine you need an ArcGIS Runtime Standard license based on the need for non-ArcGIS local/offline vector and raster data (License levels and capabilities). The next part is choosing which approach you'll use to license your app. This is typically determined by whether your application will be entirely offline. If yes, then you should follow the license string approach which involves purchasing packs of deployment licenses. But if your application will be connected/online and your users have ArcGIS identities and access to an ArcGIS Portal instance then you may be able to follow the ArcGIS identity (named user) approach. There is some additional detail on this in the Get a license topic. The license level and how to get the licenses should cover the topic of end-user / deployment licensing. Then there's the topic of developer licensing / subscription / pay-as-you-go, and this is probably best handled via a direct discussion so we can help determine exactly what's right for you. As above, I'm keen to follow up so we identify precisely what's missing today, and then ensure all the necessary info is available for everyone in the docs. Thanks Mike

In the Native Maps SDKs you have a couple of options, depending on whether / how you want to persist the layer. FeatureCollectionLayer: Temporary in the Map unless the feature layer is saved as a portal item or the map itself is saved to a portal. Hi, The sample you reference loads symbols from a mobile style - see the "Mobile styles" section in this topic: Styles—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation. If your app will be always-connected to the internet, then you could consider using a web style, and since you've already followed a Java Maps SDK sample, here's the equivalent: arcgis-maps-sdk-java-samples/symbology/create-symbol-styles-from-web-styles at main · Esri/arcgis-maps-sdk-java-samples · GitHub. But for a more resilient approach using a local/offline mobile style, if you have access to ArcGIS Pro, you can simply create a new mobile style on disk, open any Pro style, then select/copy/paste all the symbols from the Pro style into the new mobile style and then use this in your app. There are lots of styles here you can apply this approach to: Gallery (arcgis.com).

If your app is revenue-generating, then an ArcGIS Developer subscription plan at the Builder level (or higher) will be required. > How mobile app installations will be accounted from ArcGIS side? Do we need to buy license for every mobile app installation? Yes, you need to keep account of mobile app installations and ensure each one is licensed. The good news is that for the license, you might only need a Lite (free) license, and the StreetMap Premium license. Hi! The last line of the call stack appears to be calling GetWKID() which would be for the spatial reference. In your Blueprint it doesn't look like you're creating the geometry with a spatial reference - try adding that (ArcGISPoint | ArcGIS Maps SDK for Unreal Engine | ArcGIS Developers). Ideally you'd get a nice exception message and the Editor wouldn't crash - something for us to look into. Thanks

Hi, Encrypted ENC datasets are currently only supported by the ArcGIS Maps SDK for .NET, when using the WPF API. In the future, we do plan to expand this support to additional platforms and SDKs but I'm not able to share a timeline for that at this time. Hi, Is this for online/connected use or offline/disconnected use? You can work with un-encrypted ENC datasets from the AVCS using the EncLayer QML Type. To work with the service online, I believe it provides OGC WMS and/or WMTS endpoints which you can work with via WmsLayer QML Type or WmtsLayer QML Type. The SDK includes a sample showing how to add an ENC Exchange Set: Add ENC exchange set | ArcGIS Maps SDK for Qt | ArcGIS Developers. Notes: Encrypted ENC datasets are currently only support with our ArcGIS Maps SDK for .NET, when using WPF. For more information see Display electronic navigational charts (Access encrypted ENCs). Our QML API is deprecated and will be removed from the ArcGIS Maps SDK for Qt in a future release, for more information see Deprecation: ArcGIS Maps SDK for Qt - QML API and ArcGIS Extras API Deprecation (esri.com). Hi, There are possibly several options and considerations for you depending on your ongoing data management strategy: Did you create the .ly files with ArcMap originally? Do you plan to use ArcGIS Pro to create .lyrx files in future? Did you frequently create .lyr files for the ArcGIS Engine based app or was it a one time process when initially setting up / deploying your app in production? Does your ArcGIS Engine application save/share/export any .lyr files for use by other users of your app or other Esri products (e.g. ArcMap)? What platform/framework are you using - WPF? WinUI? .NET MAUI? Essentially, I'm trying to determine if this is a one-time conversion of all your existing .lyr files into an appropriate format for use with the Native Maps SDKs or if this is an ongoing process and you need to continue to support users regularly sharing and opening layer files in your app. Thanks

Note raster doesn't have quite the same simple local/remote concept as KML but image services are available with ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online.
