Hi Douglas, It's not possible to make a polygon in ArcGIS Maps for Office using coordinate data (that I know of). What I would suggest doing would be to create the polygons in ArcMap or in ArcGIS Online and then bring them into ArcGIS Maps for Office and join them to the data based on an ID or common field using a Customer Location Type: Add layers from Excel—ArcGIS Maps for Office | ArcGIS

I've been able to do this with text values by using: ${FieldA} = 'choice1' or ${FieldA} = 'choice2' or ${FieldA} = 'choice3' I wonder is yours not working because they're integers?

Hi Rob, Thanks for getting back to me! I was editing the the json for new app in the apps folder. I managed to get it working by adding a little extra to your workflow: Add the query widget to the new app like you are starting from scratch. In the widget setting dialog add 1 query similar to the one in the original app Save the app Open the config._Query.json of the new app, find the "webMapLayerId" of the query created in step 2, and take note of it Replace the json file in the apps configs/query/config_Query.json with the one you configured in your previous app. Open the replaced file and update all the "webMapLayerId" with the new one copied from step 4 and update the Service URLs if required Now when I open the query widget in the new app, all the queries appear Carmel

Hi Robert, I'm attempting to do a similar workflow to Leo - I have configured a long list of queries for one query widget, and I want to reuse the same queries in a second app... but the second app references a new Server service (the new service contains the exact same fields as the original one). Following your workflow above doesn't work (as expected) because the .json file reference a different service name. I've tried updating the .json file with the new service name but the app doesn't update the query widget - any ideas? Carmel

Hi Geoff, What ItemID are you using? I had this error too but I was using the wrong ItemID, if you browse to the item details of the feature service you want to download, the ItemID will be at the end of the URL. Carmel

Addtionally, in the newest version of Survey123 Connect, I thought it was possible to add a choice option without overwritting the feature service?

Hi Jarom, It's possible to add another choice to a list using the workflow described in this blog through the REST endpoint - I've successfully used it in the past but haven't tried with to see if the change comes through to Survey123, maybe test on a dummy dataset first! Your second questions is similar to this one, I don't think it's possible at the moment but it'd be interesting to hear from the Survey123 team.

I have used Survey123 with Office 2007 and it worked but it lacked certain functionality like the drop down menus for example! Are you sure your Survey123 ConnectBeta install is uptodate Miguel? Carmel

Hi Tom, I'm not sure that the copy and paste functionality works in ArcGIS Pro, although I could be wrong! Instead, I'd convert the XY event layer into a feature class in a geodatabase, select the records I want to copy, and then use the Append tool to add these points to the Survey123 feature service (Input is the converted XY event layer and target is the Survey123 feature service) Carmel

Hi Tom, To add data from your ArcGIS Online account, click Add Data then under Portal choose My Content: If you're signed into your ArcGIS Online account, you'll be able to see your data. I've been able to add my Survey123 feature service, append more data to it and it's been updated grand in Online! Carmel

Hi Thomas, I'd be interested to hear how you get on with your testing! ArcGIS Pro is licensed through ArcGIS Online based on the number of Desktop licenses you have - for example for your 2 Editor licenses, you will have at least 2 ArcGIS Online named users, and in there you can assign an ArcGIS Pro license to one of these users. More information can be found here: Manage ArcGIS Pro licenses—ArcGIS Pro | ArcGIS for Desktop . Assigning licenses in this way means that ArcGIS Pro does not permanently hold any of the licenses. Hi Tom, Yep, you can have ArcGIS Pro and any version of ArcGIS for Desktop on your machine, they run independently of each other. Have you been able to try your workflow with a regular ArcGIS Online feature service? The Survey123 feature services I've looked appear to function slightly differently. Carmel
