I don't believe it's possible to do that in ArcGIS Online, not in a straightforward manner anyway! You could publish the data, symbolise it, save the layer, head to the service URL of the layer, Update Definition, copy the code for the symbology. Then republished your new data, head to the service URL of the layer, Update Definition and paste the code for the symbology...but it'd probably just be as quick to do your original workflow!

Further to James' comment, make sure that both the survey form & the feature service are shared correctly. Hvae you tried assigning the test user the publisher role to see if that at least works?

Are you just dragging and dropping the file on the Map Viewer? If you need to add additional records, you'll need to update the CSV and then drag and drop again. If you publish the csv as a feature service through My Content, then you would be able to edit the feature service through the map viewer and ignore the csv file: Publish hosted feature layers—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS Another method would be to have your csv hosted somewhere lile Google Docs. Then you could add the docs URL to the map viewer. Any changes made in the Google Docs spreadsheet would be reflected in the map viewer (this spreadsheet would have to be publically shared and this mightn't suit you) Carmel

Hi Imran, You've forced a lot of the select_one questions to be of fieldtype 'esriFieldTypeInteger' when they should be 'esriFieldTypeString' or left empty - this is what was causing the error in the app, You might want to also look at your choices sheet and the Name coloumn. A lot of the answers contain spaces or characters not accepted by Survey123 and some of the answers exceed 32 characters. Carmel

It's hard to say! Might be worthwhile opening a support ticket with the Esri team in your region and getting this logged officially. Carmel

Hi Jim, I think the issue might be iOS 10? I've just tested on an iPad 2 with iOS 9.3.5 and Survey123 opens directly from Collector. Carmel

Hi Jim, I only tried the custom URLs for the first time yesterday (version 1.8) and I see the same thing - I thought this was the norm though! This was in iPhone 6. It works fine through a browser and using Survey123 for desktop. Carmel

Hi Terry, I've never been able to install a new version over an old one - I've always had to uninstall first. If you uninstall, your existing surveys remain intact and will appear in the new install. If you're unsure, take a copy of the files from C:\Users\<username>\ArcGIS\My Survey Designs and paste them back once you've upgraded. Carmel

Hi Ismael, With releases of Survey123 happening so regularly, do you know how many previous versions will still work with the latest release? 1.7.2 still works at the moment. I foresee end users still completing surveys using older versions and only upgrading if an administrator emails and asks them to! Also, Esri UK are holding a conference on the 4th Oct, I assume there isn't going to be another release before then? Carmel

I can replicate this as well Sarah - it looks like 'Continue this survey' saves an entry to the Survey's outbox and then sends both it and the completed one to ArcGIS Online. I can see the logic behind an instance being saved, but I guess it would need to be deleted one the user submits the final entry.

Hi Jim, I think to fix this you'll have to download the survey and update it in Survey123 Connect. The desktop app allows you to set the home location to a place of your choice through Settings > Map (I think Melbourne is the default if you created the survey in Survey123 Connect). As a warning if you change your survey in Survey123 Connect, end-users will no longer be able to submit data with it using their web browsers anymore. They will always need to use the Survey123 mobile app. More here. Carmel

Hi Sveaskog, your organisation doesn't have anonymous access enabled - we can access them if we go through http://arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=58e61ab3704d4399a60335b0be936bdc instead. I've had issues using Survey123 feature classes in Collector when repreats/groups are involved but I haven't investigated it enough to tie down the issue.

Hi, I've noticed this as well. In our scenario, a re-audit date was constrained to within 2 months of the audit date: My constraint field is called ${DueDate}, is based off of the AuditDate field (default is today()) and is set to: .>date(${AuditDate}) and . <date(${AuditDate}+ (60.88*24*60*60*1000)) The constraint worked perfectly in Survey123 Connect & Survey123 1.6.11 but not in 1.7.35/1.7.20.

Hi Corey, The first thing I'd suggest checking is if your Survey123 survey & feature service is shared to the group that was created along side your Workforce project (the project & the group will have the same name)? The second thing to try is to recreate the folder for Survey123 that would have been created when it was published i.e. if your survey is called 'Inspections', the folder would be called 'Survey-Inspections'.
