Hi Xander Bakker Thank you for your assistance. Yes, I am trying to bring an ArcMap label expression (below) into ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise / ArcGIS Online. I brought the expression into ArcGIS Pro from ArcMap. When I ran your code in ArcGIS Pro using Arcade the buildings were all "123". Not sure where the disconnect is? Thanks again, JB

A proper snapshot will be fine. You need to make sure you don't change the instance. If you change the instance name that is where you will lose connections to data sources. Not sure how you AWS is structured but keep an eye on your usage and monthly statements from AWS. The AWS office was very accommodating and willing to assist. They really helped with some of our questions. Take Care, JB

Hello, I have a JavaScript label expression that I am having trouble converting to ARCADE. The label expression is addresses for New York City Buildings. Since some buildings have multiple addresses the ability to minimize text is essential. In the label field are parenthesis and since ARCADE uses parenthesis i can't figure out how to represent them as text. Here is the label expression in JavaScript: function FindLabel ( [FIELDNAMEl] ) { return [FIELDNAME].replace(/::/g, "\n").replace(/ *\([^)]*\) */g, ""); } In ARCADE I currently have the label expression looking like this: Replace($feature.FIELDNAME, '/::/g/ *\([^)]*\) */g', " " ) Parenthesis need to be removed from the label as well, which should remove the street name, for example, (W 34TH ST). All types of characters should be replaced with nothing. I want to minimize code as well. Thanks in Advance.Xander BakkerJake Skinner

I am having an issue where I can't sign in to Portal for ArcGIS using ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Pro. I can sign in from the same computers using Mozilla FireFox and Internet Explorer. It use to work all the time and I'm wondering if my I.T. department made configuration changes to the F5 Load Balancer. I can consume Portal features layers within ArcGIS Pro if they are shared with everyone. I've been troubleshooting this for a week or so and have made no progress. Please provide any feedback. I can sign in to ArcGIS Online and other Portals that don't use the F5 Load Balancers.

Yes, that is true. Are you modifying this data? If it is just the beginning of its usage than I don't foresee any problems. Please like or mark my comments helpful. Thanks.

27,000 point features isn't a problem. Sometimes republishing a service solves issues in ways I just can't explain. Re-publish is a common workflow to use when you can't identify the issue. Sometimes it just fixes the underlying issue. Also, consider modifying your visible extent sometimes. I doubt anyone can make sense of 27,000 features on a single map.

Here is a quick workaround. You can add this *.png to the homepage to create a quasi dark theme. Not perfect but is does quiet the screen a bit.

Yes, It will work. You just have to register you own data stores, I.e. File Geodatabase, Enterprise Geodatabase. even a folder. The data store installation is in my esri under downloads. Click on ArcGIS Enterprise and you will see a download available. Please Like, mark Helpful, or mark one comment as correct. Thanks

Portal doesn't have a pre-requisite. The install will run. If you want to perform routine analysis and copy data to your portal the data store is an option. It registers with ArcGIS Server under Data Stores. In Portal for ArcGIS, it connects or registers as a hosting server. All GUI based it should just find and accept the connection.

Yes, it is a separate install. For Example, ArcGIS_DataStore_Windows_1061_163980.exe

The data store is a separate installation and pretty benign. It needs to be registered with ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Server can be federated with Portal for ArcGIS. Are you running ArcGIS Enterprise on a single machine or multiple?

I've never felt entirely comfortable with the ArcGIS Enterprise deployment. Cost is an issue and federation is a serious decision. I setup the ArcGIS Servers to federate only to have network security decide my Portal web adaptor was in the wrong DMZ zone. Now I have to migrate to a new web adaptor and ArcGIS server can't find the new web adaptor. Federation is so easy to set up and so difficult to undue. It's just nuts how screwy this COTS software can get.

Have you tried publishing ArcGIS data and enabling WMS? If you have an Enterprise Geodatabase. Tableau can connect to the underlying SQL Server or Oracle data.
