From what I've been told the workstation(s) were built with data science tools in mind, I.e. R, STATA, etc. The CPU has 12 cores. The problem is I can't get ArcGIS Pro to distribute to all the cores. The other item that is problematic for me is the GPU is an AMD product. I would never put an AMD GPU in a machine with ArcGIS. I have found that Nvidia works better with ArcGIS. It would be nice if ESRI provided proper hardware recommendations. Providing minimum requirements is one thing. How about optimum requirements? Thanks for the feedback.

Look at what I am running ArcGIS Pro on: Correction: 12 core CPU 24 threads, 128GB RAM. I barely notice a difference running on my workstation or my laptop. SMH

How much RAM you got? Did you perform a Save as... and test new *.aprx. Did you clear cache? C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\ESRI\Local Caches

I am running Portal for ArcGIS 10.7.1. On my Production site end users can easily click on Web AppBuilder Icon using the App Launcher Icon On my Staging site end users can not see the Web AppBuilder Icon using the App Launcher. I have the Web AppBuilder built-in to my Portal for ArcGIS. I have several Web AppBuilder applications currently running. However, I can't get the App to add to the App Launcher. It can't be this difficult. The app exists in the site already. I should be able to type it in and the Next button allows me to proceed.

I've run those patches myself. I know they can be run while the services are still up. I can't stand stuff like this. The only other thing I can think of is that the PortalAdmin Account doesn't have permissions from the folder location the patch is saved to or running from.

We have all our applications using port 443 (https). The proxy should know where to redirect your traffic to: https://email.gov goes to the email server. https://arcgis.maps.gov redirects to your web adaptor then your web adaptor redirects on 7443 to your Portal for ArcGIS. really basic network configuration. Are you using Load Balancing, I.e. F5?

Can you install using the Administrator account? Installing as the Administrator always makes the installation of software less complicated. IMHO.

Are you sure you are installing the correct patch version? I find the ESRI Patch and download page very confusing with all the pulldown menus. it is pretty east to download the incorrect patch version. https://support.esri.com/en/Products/Enterprise/arcgis-server/ArcGIS-Server/10-6-1#downloads
