Hi Survey123 Community! I suggest supporting hyperlinks in the Field App info page, for Surveys designed with Survey123Connect (hypelrinks in a new thanks you screen would work perfectly as well). Here is my two step use-case: Fill out a Survey Post a document closely related to the survey in the corporate EDMS (Survey123 attachments not accepted here) Functional objective: To ease step #2, and avoid re-typing some onf the info collected in the survey, I am deriving a keyword list from the Survey into a table, for easy copy/paste info the EDMS upload screen (ensuring ~standardized entries in the EDMS). >> Step #2 must happen after the Surveyis submitted, so that database views/triggers have produced the necessary keyword list. Requested enhancement: Hyperlink support in the Survey info page (or better, thank you screen), so that users who have completed and submitted their survey can click on the Survey123 interafce to reach Step #2. The hyperlink opens a new browser page/tab to display the hyperlink contents relevant to the survey. Related requests (and why they do not yet fill the need): Support Thank You Screen in Field App: is still an ArcGIS Idea ^^. Will likely fill the gap if it enters Survey123Connect and the Field App. Survey Description- Hyperlinks : Great workaround by @IsmaelChivite, but the solution is not repeatable (not maintained if you re-publish your survey design, not maintained by the ‘update survey’ function on the user side

.... thanks for this great idea, @Gerhard ! We have the same need. We would like to use the thank you screen to give users a hyperlink to complete the next step of their task.

Hi @IsmaelChivite , thanks for this tip! The hyperlink will disappear if the survey is republished (@Survey123Connect, tested in 3.13.251), so that users lose the hyperlink at each update (unless they delete the survey and download it again, instaed of updating it). => It would be great if that info page could be retained, or if hyperlinks coming from the Survey123Connect info page were retained. I have searched if this ArcGISIdea already existed , and have published it here: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-survey123-ideas/hyperlink-support-in-survey123-field-app-info/idi-p/1136480 Cheers, Hélène.

Partial solution is inserting hyperlinks in the info page by editing the form "details" page on AGOL/Enterprise: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-survey123-questions/survey-description-hyperlinks/m-p/791570 However, updating the form deletes the hyperlink => new idea posted here: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-survey123-ideas/hyperlink-support-in-survey123-field-app-info/idi-p/1136480

Hi @Anonymous User, it's me again ^^ To be complete, my aim is to give users a hyperlink for their next step. The Survey123 info page does not support hyperlinks, nor the thank you screen. There is no way to point them in the right direction after (and only after) they have submitted the survey. Hyperlinks can be used within the survey (before sending), but then any value sent by the survey is not available yet for usage. => I'll open a new idea and hope for a hyperlink support in the info page. Cheers, Hélène

Thanks for this good idea, @RobertMcLeod ! My organization has the same need in a forestry context. The aim is to pick out a list of parcels selected for forestry works. I have a select_multiple on the forest parcels list ; users request an autocomplete behaviour to avoid loading the screen with potentially thousands of parcel names and tick boxes. Many thanks, ESRI, for helping us help our users 🙂

Many thanks for your fast reply @Anonymous User ! The thank you screen would have been most appropriate for instructions on what to do after the survey is submitted (thank you is nice... and can also be put to good use ^^). I had not thought of using the survey info page for the same purpose, thanks for reminding me of it! Yes, I can very easily use it to point what user should do after completing the survey. My thanks again! Hélène.

Good morning @kim77 and @Anonymous User , Would users of the Field App be able to see a thank you screen ?. I struggle to set it up in Connect (my whole survey becomes blank if I insert a note named "generated_note_prompt_submitted"!) ? Given that my users will definitely use the field app and not the web app, is this a lost battle ^^ ? Many thanks!! 🙂 Hélène

Dear all, I have created Survey123 forms that use repeats. The resulting hosted feature service contains attached tables for the question that allow repeated answers. Up till Dec, 06, 2021, data exports in Shapefile format were OK (export launched from Survey123 "data" page) Since Dec, 10, 2021, exports in Shapefile format are corrupted, whether launched from Survey123 "data" page, or from the resource details page in ArcGIS Online (the created zip is empty). Exports in Shapefile format are OK when the feature service has a simpler structure (no related tables, no repeats in the Survey123 form). There seems to be a link with the newer ArcGIS Online version (dated Dec 08, 2021). Is anyone experiencing the same problem? Would ESRI have a solution to tackle this regression in the export to shapefile function? Many thanks in advance for all replies! With kind regards, Hélène.

Good evening Survey123 team, Some of my users work offline without offline basemap. They are asking a simplified form, without a map but showing only the "Location Average" button. Would there be a way to set an appearance for the geometry field so that the map hides, but the "Location Average" button remains? The idea is to minimise the place taken by the geometry field on the form, while helping with point accuracy (they work in the foret, where the GPS signal is frequently poor : averaging should be better than the device default). Many thanks! With kind regards, Hélène.

Good afternoon ESRI Friends, Is it possible to extend the screen space available to the list of feature type templates? My design uses the "Jewelry Box Theme", so that the full left panel is available for the widget, but only a small part of it is actually used by the widget. With only 4 editable layers (2 points + 2 polygons), only 3 actually show up directly on screen: The last one is hidden, and users must use the vertical slider to view it and select it: in spite of available screen space below the widget, the list of feature type templates is not fully shown. I could not find any parameters in ArcGIS Assistant to extend the screen space programmatically ; and my users would like to see all available feature templates immediately. My work environment is ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8.1 Who else has faced the same issue? how did you solve it (or go around it)? Many thanks! With kind regards, Hélène.

The steps described in the ESRI online documentation to obtain a web app that has a URL with parameters used by the groupfilter widget. and it works! 🙂 The steps described in the ESRI online documentation allow to obtain a web app that has a URL with parameters used by the groupfilter widget. Unfortunatetly, these parameters are restricted to selecting one or several discrete values (ref. ESRI Community Web AppBuilder question here) Other common filter operators, although available in the widget, cannot be used via URL parameters: filter on numeric values: greater than, lower than, greater than or equals , lower than or equals ; filter on dates: date before... ; date after .... filter on string parts: contains, starts with, ends with exclusion filter: not equals to Could these filter operators be added to the URL parameters? If so, could the documentation be completed with syntax examples? Many thanks! With kind regards, Hélène.

Many thanks for your reply, @AlixVezina ! I was hoping to query on a range of values, not on multiple values. I'll forward this post as an ArcGIS Idea for -hopefully!- future completion of the GroupFilter URL parameter capabilities. Thanks again!

Good afternoon everyone, I am following the steps described in the ESRI online documentation to obtain a web app that has a URL with parameters used by the groupfilter widget. and it works! 🙂 The example given in the online help is a case of selecting one or more values in a coded domain. No syntax example is given for the other filter operators that are available in the widget: filter on numeric values: greater than, lower than, greater than or equals , lower than or equals ; filter on dates: date before... ; date after .... filter on string parts: contains, starts with, ends with exclusion filter: not equals to I would like to obtain URLs that use the numeric operators, but cannot figure out how to syntax the URL... The example given in the documentation shows that the groupfilter widget uses a syntax that is quite different from usual query syntax (described here, for instance). Has anyone experienced writing URLs with any of these operators? Is there any more complete help available on the syntax to be used for the groupfilter widget? Many thanks for any help, pointers, good ideas, and moral support 😉 Kind regards, Hélène
