I continually find myself making small edits to parcels and then realizing that the currently selected Record in the HUD UI is not the record I wanted the new parcel edits to be assigned to. Then I have to go back and untangle these records. It might be nice to have a warning of some sort if the record in the HUD UI is not in the current map extent (or a configurable distance) in which the parcels you are performing the edit on. Or, simply, if the parcels you are editing do not match the currently selected record, show a quick warning. Thanks! Mike

Is there no way to work around this and glean an z value from the map or some other source? Or is it possible to use a z-enabled feature layer and default the z-value to 0 if not available -- ala how you can publish a feature layer from Pro?

Hi all I have a hosted feature layer in Enterprise Portal that was created from a Feature Layer template (Bridge Inspection specifically). When I try to enter a point in the Field Maps app manually (long press on the screen -> collect here), I get an error that says 'Unable to copy geometry. The source feature doesn't have altitude' Has anyone seen this? I can successfully add a point using the current location however...any ideas? Thanks Mike

Hi Amir, I guess it would be great to have essentially the same functionality of the 10.x duplicate tool: The ability to duplicate multiple times is very useful but maybe even more important is the ability to duplicate into another parcel layer based on the editing template that is set for that layer (or maybe have this configurable?). Right now it's fairly cumbersome to duplicate to a layer and then have to go update the attributes/types/subtypes for that new duplicated parcel afterward. Thanks Mike [cid:[email protected]]

Hi...did you ever find a solution to this? I'm finding the same odd issue that isn't quite understood when trying to explain. I have an old .lyr file that was saved from a SQL server query (Query Layer). I have since converted that to a lyrx file and I just want to use that lyrx file to search through the data...without adding it to a map. In ArcObjects it was simple to get a FeatureLayer loaded from a lyr file. Not only that, any set definition queries came along with it so you didn't have to wire that part up when searching the 'raw' feature class underlying the FeatureLayer. Any ideas would be great! Thanks

It would be great (ala Old ArcMap Fabric) to have the ability to specify a number of repetitions on a parcel duplication! (among the other things that the duplicate dialog is lacking)

I tested this out by creating a new fabric in a new file GDB with 2.8...same message when the fabric is added to a new map.

Just started getting this error in our Pro Fabric Enterprise when trying to edit topology edges: The topology graph failed to build, try zooming in to a smaller extent Nothing I do (zooming in etc) seems to fix it. And every time the error pops up, I need to click the 'OK' button 5 times before it stops. There seems to be some major issues with the topology. Any help/ideas would be great. Thanks.

I am still seeing flaky behavior in the parcel fabric topology editing. I will validate the topology, fix errors, and then revalidate, but the errors will appear to still be there...however, there are no records in the errors table. If I close my project and re-open it they go away. This is using Enterprise 10.9/branch versioning. Any ideas? Does anyone else see this? Thanks!

Hi All, I am suddenly having an issue with field names in a service that was recently re-published after a 10.9 enterprise upgrade. The data has been in a PostGres replica for several years now with minimal changes running the same service. It seems that the field names are not being published as they actually are (lower-case in PostGres) rather they seem to (sort-of) match their aliases that are all upper case. There is one that is particularly odd, it seems that the field name is represented by the Alias --only with the whitespace/spaces removed (mix of upper and lowercase). I have tried republishing the service to one with a different name with the same results. This is causing havoc with a web app that consumes this service because now the field names are represented incorrectly...any help would be great! Also, these were published with Pro 2.8. Thanks!

Hi All I'm sure this is possible I just can't seem to figure out how...previously with ArcObjects I was able to operate on existing feature classes via layer files (keeping definition queries intact) outside of a map. Is this possible with Pro? The thing I keep running into is: LayerFactory.Instance.CreateFeatureLayer -- but this requires a map instance vs ArcObjects: (IFeatureLayer)pGxLyr.Layer Any help would be great! Thanks!

Hi All, I just upgraded our version 3 Pro Fabric to version 4 with the upgrade dataset tool and I also upgraded our complete enterprise to 10.9. I can publish the fabric with no problem but all of the layers have the warning triangle telling me that there is a newer version available. Am I missing something or could this just be a bug? Thanks! Mike

I agree with this one. I'm a little surprised this isn't part of the functionality already. We need to transfer several accounts to ADFS logins and this would be great to have.

Thanks Vince...so 13 will be supported at 10.9/2.8 it seems? I have a test PG 12.6 instance running and have successfully restored my older 11.2 DBs with no problem...however it's VERY important that the geodatabase be upgraded via Arc after the restore process (in case anyone was wondering). Thanks!

Hi All Curious if anyone knows the roadmap/timeline when PostGres 13 will be supported? We are in the process of upgrading and would be helpful to know whether we can hold off for a bit? Thanks!
