That's the weird thing...the 2 utility services (printing, and Directions/Routing) that we have set in AGO use our Portal but they are both shared publicly. The default basemap is just ESRI topo and the geocoder is the ArcGIS World Geocoder. Also our basemap gallery group is shared publicly as is everything in it. Here's the test map url: https://mcgis.maps.arcgis.com/home/webmap/viewer.html?webmap=48e75827197744838f3399b45275270d

Hi...this is a weird one that seems to have just started. When saving a map in Map Viewer Classis in our Organizational AGO account (even a blank map) we are prompted for a login to our external on-premises portal. I can't find anything that would be referencing back to our portal that is not shared publicly. Any ideas would be great! Thanks.

Easy fix...thanks! Although, not a huge deal but, the widget doesn't seem to show the new base map as the 'active' one (there's no blue indicator or highlight for the basemap)...it does switch fine though.

Hi All, Just upgraded from 4.22 to 4.23 and this setting the BaseMap Gallery widget active basemap using basemapGallery.activeBasemap = 'hybrid' (for example) fails with an error: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'spatialReference') I assume this has to to with the addition of allowing basemaps to have different spatial references in 4.23 but I can't seem to find and documentation on this particular issue. Any help would be great. Thanks.

@tigerwoulds ..I am looking to do the exact same thing but I'm getting a bit lost on the upgrade. Can you share your working Python3 script by chance? Thanks!

The interface for managing Collaborations is slightly lacking. Particularly when you're trying to troubleshoot WHY a sync failed. Currently, if a sync fails, you only get a vague message -'Failed for one or more participants.'. Edit -- I do realize that this info is in the Portal logs it's just a bit cumbersome to go fetch it. I would like to get a report of what datasets failed, why, and possibly how to fix it. On top of that, it would be great to get a report of various metrics in the sync such as number of features added/deleted/altered for each feature layer. Thanks!

I completely agree! This would be incredibly helpful to have a mouse hover over the group listing show the group names rather than having to go into 'Edit group sharing' then scroll through the list to see who it's shared with.

We have been using database replication with the older, traditional database versioning for many years now. It provides a simple way to manage syncing data that might need to be disconnected from the original source -- pushing data out for external web app data access for instance. We would like to implement Branch Versioning on our master editing database to take full advantage of feature service editing capabilities including version management and validation. It seems that Branch Versioning DOES NOT support the typical replication of old. It would be rather helpful to see this implemented. The, not-desirable, workaround for this is to create a schema copy of a database, and use scripting to truncate/append data out to these external databases -- this is a bit of a data management problem. Thanks!

Running into this same issue but this was not the case previously. Before I simply added a map (containing a map-image service) and was able to operate on the individual layers just fine -- clicking on a list item would successfully zoom to a feature in the map (from which the list was built in the first place). Now, when I click a list item/feature, the map just goes blank. This seems like a flaw as the dashboard should be able to traverse to the correct map layer that the list was built upon...it really shouldn't matter if it's a standalone featurelayer or not. It seems rather tedious to split up our on-premises Server Mapservice layers into separate featurelayers in AGO to accomplish this. What's the point of adding a map to the dashboard then? Just some thoughts. Thanks.

I continually find myself making small edits to parcels and then realizing that the currently selected Record in the HUD UI is not the record I wanted the new parcel edits to be assigned to. Then I have to go back and untangle these records. It might be nice to have a warning of some sort if the record in the HUD UI is not in the current map extent (or a configurable distance) in which the parcels you are performing the edit on. Or, simply, if the parcels you are editing do not match the currently selected record, show a quick warning. Thanks! Mike

Is there no way to work around this and glean an z value from the map or some other source? Or is it possible to use a z-enabled feature layer and default the z-value to 0 if not available -- ala how you can publish a feature layer from Pro?

Hi all I have a hosted feature layer in Enterprise Portal that was created from a Feature Layer template (Bridge Inspection specifically). When I try to enter a point in the Field Maps app manually (long press on the screen -> collect here), I get an error that says 'Unable to copy geometry. The source feature doesn't have altitude' Has anyone seen this? I can successfully add a point using the current location however...any ideas? Thanks Mike

Hi Amir, I guess it would be great to have essentially the same functionality of the 10.x duplicate tool: The ability to duplicate multiple times is very useful but maybe even more important is the ability to duplicate into another parcel layer based on the editing template that is set for that layer (or maybe have this configurable?). Right now it's fairly cumbersome to duplicate to a layer and then have to go update the attributes/types/subtypes for that new duplicated parcel afterward. Thanks Mike [cid:image001.png@01D7DD27.02C24C70]

Hi...did you ever find a solution to this? I'm finding the same odd issue that isn't quite understood when trying to explain. I have an old .lyr file that was saved from a SQL server query (Query Layer). I have since converted that to a lyrx file and I just want to use that lyrx file to search through the data...without adding it to a map. In ArcObjects it was simple to get a FeatureLayer loaded from a lyr file. Not only that, any set definition queries came along with it so you didn't have to wire that part up when searching the 'raw' feature class underlying the FeatureLayer. Any ideas would be great! Thanks

It would be great (ala Old ArcMap Fabric) to have the ability to specify a number of repetitions on a parcel duplication! (among the other things that the duplicate dialog is lacking)
