I figured it out. In the properties on the parcel fabric feature class, under Edit Environment -> Line Cartography -> Circular curve line fit tolerance, the radius was set to .8 Meters for some reason, I cranked it down to .1 and all is good. Thanks!

Hi All, I am trying to create a 1' curved strip in the parcel fabric but when I attempt to create the parcels it looks as if the curve collapses on itself. This happens both when trying to create a parallel offset and when try to create them from a join session. I can make one a 3' but any less, the process seems to fail. Are there any other type of cluster tolerance configurations that I can adjust for this? Thanks Construction: Results: The points are created and the end point lines are created but the 1' offset curve is not. Works fine at a 3' offset:

Hi Aravind, It's working now. After I installed the second adapter I still needed to un-register the server and then re-register it. Once that was complete I needed to update the data store configuration to set the hosting server. I also had to re-install Insights and noticed that it now had components for both ArcGIS server and Portal...installed and is working! Thanks Mike

Hi Aravind, I did everything here but when I attempt to configure the WebAdaptor with portal it does not recognize the server site admin user/pass. To clarify...I need to configure the new WebAdaptor for Portal at https://myserver.full.name/portal/webadaptor (I installed the 2nd WebAdaptor using 'portal') correct? It's failing when I try to configure https://myserver.full.name:443 using the same admin account as Server running at https://myserver.full.name/arcgis Thanks for your help! Mike

Hello Aravind...I only have one WebAdaptor for both Server and Portal. Should they be separate? Thanks, Mike

Hi All, I have gone through all of the prerequisites for getting Insights configured but when I attempt to load the app, I get a Page not found/404 error. I have Portal 10.5.1 set up with a federated 10.5.1 ArcGIS server running on an SSL domain certificate control internal virtual machine. I have the ArcGIS datastore installed and configured and the local machine validated as the hosting server. I have the webadaptor installed and configured to the local machine. I installed Insights without a problem and configured and licensed it via Portal. The Apps cluster shows up as expected next to my username in Portal and Insights appears to be available but it only loads a 'Page Not Found' error page. I've checked logs with no usable messages. Any ideas? Thanks!

There is a bug and, according to ESRI, is supposed to be fixed in 10.5.1.

Hi Rachel, No turn feature classes are being used. Not multimodal. Network is built. We are using the same data set/schema for our roads as before and the xml files were never manually modified. If I set returnDirections to false in the client applications the routing works fine...it will fail if it is set to true. If I attempt to retrieve directions in a Desktop session ArcMap crashes immediately and displays the ESRI send error report dialog. The routing service on Server fails and returns: Error executing solve route at Object.g.load to the client. I upgraded 2 machines that show the same behavior and both Desktop and Server were upgraded. Thanks, Mike

We have had a transportation network dataset running for some time now until an upgrade to 10.5. Now, calculating a route works as expected but, when attempting to get directions, ArcMap crashes instantly. We also have a routing service in Server that is also failing and I can only assume the same thing is happening. UPDATE: On the client side, I have set returnDirections to false and the routing works fine...something in the directions is crashing it... Nothing has changed with the dataset that we are using and I have stopped, restarted, recreated the datasets with the same results...ArcMap crash or Server error. Any help would be great! Thanks, Mike

Hello, This is better described with images...basically when adding a line point to one part of a section it affects a far-away portion of the section...any ideas as to why this is happening would be great! Section2.jpg is an image of the entire section with the areas highlighted in red. AffectedAreaBeforeLinePoint.jpg - self explanatory AffectedAreaAfterLinePoint.jpg - self explanatory As far as I can tell, these areas are independent of each other. Thanks!

After a few months of smooth sailing...the issue is back. A blank document now takes about 1:30 to load. This seemed to happen after several windows updates (and a Kaspersky Anti-Virus update).

Hi All, I have Tim's arcobjects fabric editing snippet but for the life of me I can't figure out how to edit/update existing fabric control points using the CadastralExtensionManager. Does anyone have any ideas? I see that there are methods to start and stop edit control points but how do you capture the point to edit it? Thanks! Mike

Yes...I deleted the default.gdb with no effect. I currently have a support ticket open on this with ESRI...I will keep this post updated.
