It looks like this device meets the system requirements to run ArcGIS for Windows Mobile 10.2.1 our latest version. I hope this addresses your question, if not please let us know. Thanks, Fred! Hi, I am not sure which version of ArcPad you are working in but within ArcPad 10.2. Our developers incorporated an awesome workflow, which would allow you to only access ArcGIS Server ArcPad Services. So, what does this mean? In ArcPad 10.2x they have created a workflow were you will check out your data and create your service(s), then append the two using a new ArcPad Tool within ArcToolbox. This is all covered within the following blog written by them. I hope this addressing your question but allows you to take advantage of this new workflow and tool within ArcPad. Gracias! Hola Diego, ArcPad is an independent object; it is not version specific to work together with ArcMap. You are still able to use your past workflows in the newer version(s) of ArcMap/ArcPad but please keep in mind. You will not be able to take advantage of the new ArcPad functionalities built at ArcPad 8 forward. I am also including some ArcPad documentation, which I hope this helps you. Gracias, Diego! Hola Travis, The Flex Viewer is design to display services, as you can see within the following documentation. My suggestion on this would be to either convert the dwg to shapefile, feature class, etc. and then publish it, where you will be able to display the data within the Flex Viewer. If you have any further questions or issues, please submit a case with Support Services. Gracias, Travis! Hola Jonathan, I would suggest running a quick test with some simple data to verify that the ArcPad check out/in workflow works for you first, and then you can look at the post processing workflow. I would suggest to create both the axf/apm somewhere on their local machine. As seen below: Move the project onto the device, and then collect data. Once this is done, move the project back locally, and then check in the data by accessing the updated axf. As seen below: If this all works for you, and the database gets updated. I would then look at the workflow you are using to post process the data. If you would like for us to look into this further with you, please log a support case with Support Services. Gracias, Jonathan! Esri Support Juan

Hola Amanda, In my experience having a large number of field, domains, sub-types on the feature classes may cause such an issue. If you are interested, you can always submit a support case through Support Services. We can then look to access your data and troubleshoot this issue with you, and then look to post the results. I have used TerraSync/Pathfinder Office in my past life, and migrating to ArcPad is a very different environment in using data dictionaries. Gracias, Amanda! http://support.esri.com/en/ Juan

Hi, I have looked through our resources here within Support Services, and found where this is a logged bug within our system. This issue has been brought to the attention of our ArcPad Development Team, and they are reviewing this logged bug. So, this is not anything you have been doing incorrectly, the option for this spatial reference system is currently not available within the Datum Configuration Tool, from within ArcPad. I was though able to locate a suggested workaround, which may be an option to assist you in your day-to-day workflow. Thanks! [#NIM094999 When using the Datum Configuration Tool in ArcPad 10.2, the NAD_1983_PA11 datum is not available as an option from the dropdown menu. ] Suggested Workaround: Take field data in the default coordinate system (usually WGS1984) and then bring the data back to your desktop where you can define it using the Project tool within the Projections and Transformations toolbox. If you have any question, please feel free in contacting us, within Support Services. http://support.esri.com/en/ Juan

Hi, ArcPad is a independent object, and is not specific to a version of our product(s). You will be able to use ArcPad 10.2.2 with an ArcSDE 10.0 version, in order to check out/in your data and create an ArcPad project. Please let us know if you have any further here or by submitting a support case through Support Services. Thanks! Support Services Esri Support Juan

HI Gregg, Here is my suggestion on your post, with regards to using a DEM with ArcPad. If your DEM is one of the supported raster format, found in the link provided. You can then use the general ArcPad workflow for it, as you would to add a shapefile, axf, etc. directly into ArcPad. Gracias, Gregg! Nick, I reached out to our Mobile Technical Lead on this, and she mentioned this would be a list we are not able to post but will be included in the documentation, after this update has been installed. I did go through the list and did not see anything to do with addressing screen resolution issue. If you have a bug number Nick, I would be happy to look into it for you. Gracias, Nick! Juan

Hi David, I reached out to one of our developers yesterday, and they mentioned the timeline has been pushed back a few weeks on the release date. We see this quit often within Support Services, but on the upside. The developers typically put out a blog on the web, when these products have been updated and available to all of our users. I would say by the end of February, would be a good timeframe for this release of ArcGIS for Windows Mobile 10.2.1. Gracias, David! Juan
