Hola all, This is Juan of Support Services. I just wanted to pass along, where David is correct in the next step for ArcGIS for Windows Mobile. We will be releasing mobile 10.2.1 which will be compatible with ArcMap 10.3 by the end of January. In regards to the future of the product, within Support Services we have not heard if any further development will be done. This would be up to the Product Engineers and the developers of the product but as you are all discussing, the move for our current users, is to migrate over to Collector. Thanks, All!! Juan

Hola Joe, This is Juan of Support Services. If you have ArcMap on your desktop, you can convert the kml file to a shapefile. You are able to use the tool below, to convert the kml within ArcMap to a shapefile. Then within ArcPad you are able to add directly the shapefile, since this a native data format which ArcPad will read directly. Gracias, Joe! KML To Layer (Conversion) http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.1/index.html#//00120000004w000000 Juan

Hola Maarten, This is Juan in Support Services. ArcPad 10.0.4 will work together with ArcGIS Server 10.2, you will need to use the same workflow and tools within ArcMap for use within ArcGIS Server. Once you are able to upgrade on the ArcPad side to 10.2x, then your workflow will change as you can see within the following blog’s put out by our ArcPad Development a few years back. If you have any further questions, please let us know within Support Service. Sync with Feature Services in ArcPad 10.2 http://blogs.esri.com/esri/arcgis/2013/09/22/feature-service-sync-in-arcpad-10-2/ Gracias, Maarten! Juan

Hola Madeline, I had a client with a similar issue; we reached out to Trimble on this matter. They provided me with a document with a great work flow; take a look to see if this will assist you in checking in all of your newly collected data. Gracias, Madeline!

Hola Matthew, ArcPad does not have such an option built in. It is intended to commit or cancel, when you need this function to happen. Currently an Undo option is not available, from within ArcPad. Gracias, Matthew!

Hola DComerfo, My suggestion on this issue, would be to log a webform with us (Support Services). This way we can look at your data, work flow, etc. to better test and investigate, what you are seeing when you check in your data into your geodatabase. Their could be numerious issues going on here, which could cause this not to update your database, when you check in your modifications. Please keep in mind, as long as you are current with your maintenance. You can mention my name and our discussion from the forums in the webform, I would be happy to work with both of you on this issue being seen. Gracias, DComerfo! navid-If you would like to do the same, in logging a webform with us, I would be happy to also work with you on your issue. Hola BDickson, In doing some research for you on this item, you submitted on the forum. I found the following option you can use to control the amount of data being displayed within the map on the ArcMap side. By setting scale dependency to your data, your field crew will not see all the data provided at once, but as they zoom in, out and maneuver within the project data will appear and disappear. Gracias, BDickson! Hola noam, I would suggest when working with aerial(s) within your project, especially on a laptop/toughbook. Check out all your vector data from within ArcMap, with which ever Action(s) you desire but don't check out your aerial imagery. Simply once you have checked out your vector data, open your .apm and then add in the aerial imagery in its native format. This will not only give you the best performance for your project, but also the aerial imagery will draw much faster. I am including the documentation for all supported raster format, from within ArcPad. I hope this helps and answers your questions, we are here to assist. Gracias, noam! Hola Shafayat, I wanted to let you know, that I have put together a work flow with some screen shots and documentation. This document will cover how to Merge multiple segmented lines which are not connected, into one line. I am then including some suggestions, on your second part, where to remove the extra vertices, and then only have the beginning and ending vertices. Gracias, Shafayat!

Hola, What if you create a new polyline layer, a test layer but when you are asked about the spatial reference system. I would set this to a WGS_1984 or GCS_North_American_1983, this will give you pleanty of area to difitize within. If you are using a projected system, then it may be possibly the incorrect one was selected for your area of the state. Gracias!
