Zac, In doing some testing within 9.3.1, 10 and 10.1, where you print to a .pdf file from within ArcReader. I am including the work flow for you, and in all 3 versions of ArcReader, this options seems to work. Gracias! ArcReader>open a .pmf>file>print>check on "Print to file">Ok>Enter the path where the file will reside and include the .pdf extension for the name.

Richard, If this seems to have been working before in a previous version, and now you have upgraded to SP3 and seen issues. I would suggest looking into the latest service pack, please downloading and installing SP4 for ArcReader, which I am including the URL for you. Gracias! Tiffany, If you re-create the pmf file, is this small key their still in the new pmf file? Are you also seeing this key when you package the pmf file? Or was this small key seen only on a certain pmf file that was created, and not seen since and you were wondering what this meant. Gracias!

Ben, In order to capture photo's the field type will need to be a "TEXT" format. The field name cannot have any spaces, special characters in the name, if the field does, the photo panel will not recognize the field. David, You are correct, those instructions did seem familiar too and I didn't recall those options in 7.0.1. If you are able to take the .apx file from the desktop, which is located my documents\my arcpad and override the one on the device, should revert everything back to normal. Gracias! David, One suggestion I would make, if you have the same version loaded on the desktop and not using GPS Correct on the device. You can perform a factory reset on the device, and then re-deploy all the items from the desktop to the device. Gracias!
