Hi, I am new to the Lead Service Line Inventory solution, which I have deployed to ArcGIS Online. I have a question(s) after watching the webinar, "Advances in Creating a Lead Service Line Inventory," dated February 1, 2023. At about minute 21:33, Lead Service Line Editor browser app, they mention the field, 'Entire Service Line Status' is required. At about minute 22:55, in the Lead Service Line Field Map app, the 'Entire Service Line Status' field is mentioned again as required, and that it is an expression calculation from attributes in the Utility Side and the Customer Side groups. I am assuming the calculation is using the Utility Status and Customer Status fields, is this correct? If correct, then back in the Lead Service Line Editor, is the 'Entire Service Line Status' field also calculated from the Utility Status and Customer Status fields, or do I have to select the value from the drop-down list explicitly? If I enter a status for each, the 'Entire Service....' field does not populate automatically in the LS Line Editor. I have not tried this in Pro. Thanks in advance, Jay

No, that I am aware of. I checked and there is no filter expression, sorry I met to mention that in my original post.

Hi, I am working with the Service Line Self-Assessment_customer feature service (hosted, view). I have two test records collected using Survey123 from the solution. When I open this service in map viewer, no points are plotted yet the two records are observed in the service table. What am I missing or doing wrong in viewing this service that is preventing one from the seeing the points on a web map? Thanks, Jay

Hi. I am working with the Service Line Self-Assessment Dashboard and am getting an Arcade error in the Current Submissions List element. I have two test records collected using the Survey123 app from the solution. When I first opened the Dashboard, the List element would not show any records, while the spin icon simply spun. I went into the configuration panel and reselected the Service Line Self-Assessment_viewing layer. The two records then appeared in the List, but both had these error messages (below). In the Survey123 web application, there is an ObjectID for each record (1 and 2). In the List configuration panel there is some Arcade script in the Advanced Formatting tab, but I have no clue what to do here, if anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Jay Unable to execute Arcade script for Feature Objectid 1 Unable to execute Arcade script for Feature Objectid 2

Hi Kelly, Thank you. I do see Sidebar in the ArcGIS Online Instant App launcher. However, I failed to mention this application is for internal use on the ArcGIS Enterprise platform. I don't see the Sidebar option when I choose Create Web App of a web map Item details page. In Enterprise, is Sidebar not available? Also, any thoughts on why the pop-ups in the apps don't always honor/show the pop-up content set in the Web Map? Many thanks again for your help. Regards, Jay

Hi. I have a project that could benefit from the Sidebar instant application. I have used this application in the past. I no longer see Sidebar as an option in the Instant App selector. Is this particular application no longer available? I need a simple application that places the pop-up on the side (not floating) and allows one to access Survey123 via a link in the pop-up. In this link, we are also passing data into fields in the Survey form. The old Basic Viewer application sort of works, except when I set the pop-up to lock on the side, the pop-up is empty except for the Survey link. If the pop-up is floating, then all content is visible as is the Survey123 link. In either pop-up locations, when I click the link, the survey opens, including passing data into the form. The Minimalist app works too, almost. The pop-up is anchored on the left and shows the content and the Survey link. However, when I click on the Survey link, none of the data are passed into the survey form. And I cannot change the reference basemap in this application. Any ideas, thoughts, help would be much appreciated. Sincerely, Jay

Here is what I have learned since my initial post. If either of the Status fields are <Null>, the circle appears white. Changing either Status field to a choice in the domain other than Null, updates the half-circle symbology. To prevent the dots from moving in Pro (in my case when I changed the Utility Verified to Yes, the Customer dot shifted left), go to Labeling in the main ribbon and click on Expression to open the Arcade expression. for the ServiceLine layer. Near the bottom of the pane, uncheck 'Remove extra spaces' if checked. In so doing, the spaces in the expression are honored.

Hello. Since my initial post and working with Esri, here is where I am at. I opened the ServiceLine feature service using “Map Viewer Classic with full editing control,” and was able to add a couple of points. However, the color symbology is not present, all I see are white circles regardless of the point choice I make to create a new feature (see screen shot). For the verification dots, the behavior seemed fine when I switched between yes and no, the dots did not move left. I then opened the web map in Field Maps and could see the newly added points (all white) from the Map Viewer step above. I added new point, the correct symbology was present, and the dots did not move when I updated the verified fields, although at one point I thought the customer dot did move left. I was unable to repeat the behavior when I tried again. It does seem to be happening in Pro only.

I sent in a request for tech support. They were able to repeat the behavior. Also, when I added new points in MapViewer Classic, they appeared as white. I was informed that if the Utility Status and Customer Status fields are completed, then the half-circle symbology shows up. I am searching for online help with this solution. Despite a couple of videos and the usual bulleted help Introduction to Lead Service Line Inventory—ArcGIS Solutions | Documentation I am not finding much else. Any links would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi. In using the Lead Service Line Inventory solution, I noticed the verification dots move or shift left when switching between yes and no. On the material point symbology, the left half circle is Utility, and the right half circle is Customer, as per the solution description. When I set the Utility Side Verified attribute to yes, and Customer Side Verified attribute to no, the utility dot disappears as expected, while the customer dot shifts left, giving the appearance that the utility side has not been verified, but customer side has been verified. verified=no for both Utility verified = yes, customer verified = no; dot has shifted left suggesting utility side has not been verified and the customer side has been verified

I submitted a ticket to tech support for help. I also added the same service into my Pro project. This second service has the dots, and appears to be functioning as expected when I edit the utility and customer verified fields between null, yes and no. So perhaps the "original" service is messed up?

I am new to the lead inventory solution and working through what online help and videos that I can find. I added a couple of test points using the Lead Service Line Editor web application. I set the two verification fields to No, two dots appeared on the point as expected. I created a second point, updated the attributes, etc. Now no dots appear on either line point. Refreshed the browser window, etc. and still no verified points. Why?
