Hello Henry, Thank you for continuing to provide ideas to help resolve my issue. I created a simple point feature class, two point features, and attempted publishing. I received the same error as before from the data store registered version/connection. If I switched to another database version, I was able to publish the feature class. I did this step a few times with other versions and all published as expected. I deleted the database version, recreated, in Catalog. I also deleted the data store database connection registration. I recreated all of these items and tried again, same unfavorable result. The joins are coming from the same database. I think the other points you raised are set up appropriately. Thanks, Jay

Hello Henry, Thank you for your reply. Our data are hosted on an SQL server in our ArcGIS Server site having our SQL sde enterprise geodatabase. I am joining the City of Newark, Delaware parcel feature polygons (8,135) to zoning polygons (324). Through some join steps I have created a feature class that shows zoning by parcel polygon. The idea is to create an editable feature service in an app where zoning on individual parcels can be updated as zoning changes are approved by our City Council and our Planning Department. The app approach would allow our Planning department, who have some GIS skills, to make zoning changes. I would then reconcile and post the edits to our sde. Yesterday when troubleshooting, I did publish a different feature class, the City of Newark boundary, one polygon, and it published fine. As you suggest, I will create a blank feature class with one point and see if that publishes, and reply. I hope a resolution can be found. Kind regards, Jay

I have reviewed several other posts on this topic, but I cannot seem to resolve this issue. I was attempting to publish a polygon feature class, in ArcMap to our ArcGIS Server, which we have done many times with other feature classes (screen shot below). I registered the data connection which removed the publishing errors and warnings. I believe I have done that correctly (though this step(s) is confusing). I continue to get the error. I scrapped the MXD, database connection, data store record, etc., and started completely over. Same result. I tried publishing another feature class and was successful in having it publish on Server, which suggests there is an issue with the feature class(?). The Server logs are asking to 'verify the data exists on the server.' I am assuming given the feature class displays correctly and has an attribute table, then the data exist. This service is to be editable on a daughter version in sde and going into a simple app so zoning on parcels can be updated easily. I would rec and post the edits to sde after QA reivew. Thanks in advance for any help.

I was poking around our ArcGIS Online organization pages and clicked on Licenses and was greeted with a 'Notice' that "The number of licenses assigned exceeds the number...available. Go to the licenses tab....." So I did and saw that our Pro extensions appeared to be expired. I don't know enough about licensing to understand why this has happened, when the rest of Pro (Advanced) licensing seems to be in order. Any renewals are slated near the end of March 2020. I am not sure when the Notice may have started popping up, but I have not seen before today. What do I have to do to rectify this situation? Thanks in advance.

I have has a similar 'Failed to load data' error when trying to open attribute tables in Pro (version 2.4.2 and earlier). The error stated 'Failed to retrieve a page of rows.' I had task manager open while trying to open an att table again. The action consumed very little RAM or CPU time. I had ~49% RAM available during the execution. Opening and closing Pro had no effect. The attribute table is from a spatial view. Thanks!

Hello! I am developing a simple bus route map and app. I am trying to change the color of the bus stop name to match the bus stop symbol and route color. I am adding HTML in the field values in a field called 'Description' which has the bus stop names. In the screen shot of the attribute table from ArcGIS Pro, the red and green (not shown) snippets seem to work and change the text to red or green. I am getting nowhere with the orange color. I have tried hexadecimal values, <font color="...> etc., nothing gives me an orange text color. The text stays black (see the second screen shot as a conceptual example). I do not have much HTML experience. I don't know if the <clr> tag works for the red, blue, and green colors only? Perhaps what I am trying to do in the attribute table in ArcGIS Pro can't be done? The color formatting would need to extend from Pro to an AGOL feature service for a web map and app too. Many thanks in advance.

Hello. We are working with spatial views created in MS SQL Server Management Studio. We have linked servers allowing us to retrieve data (e.g., code violations) from other SQL databases and then join these data with parcel information retrieved from our ArcGIS sde SQL database. We then publish the view as AGOL hosted feature service (for public access as we do not have ArcGIS Enterprise/Portal yet). We noticed the published feature service does not honor the record count of the spatial view feature class when the service is published from ArcGIS Pro. If we pull the view into Desktop and publish to AGOL, the record count is honored. Desktop prompts us for a unique ID field during the “drag and drop” into the map frame from Catalog – Pro does not prompt for a unique ID. We are creating a dynamic unique ID attribute in the spatial view query on the server-side to ensure all records are returned. We don’t understand why publishing from Pro would drop records - which is undesirable. We do not know how to remedy such an occurrence, so we publish from Desktop as a work around. We theorize that multiple records having identical information in each field (e.g., more than one of the same code violations in the same parcel, etc.) are being treated as one record when publishing to AGOL via Pro, ignoring the dynamically calculated unique ID values. We want to show all the code violations, even if they are the same, by parcel. Any thoughts?

Following on from my earlier post, the error still occurs regardless of the basemap saved in the web map.

Hi, we started noticing this same issue with the Information Lookup solution. We are using it to serve general parcel, address, structure and zoning information to the public. We like the attribute consolidation into a single pop-up. Windows 10 Desktop and Android devices, the app works great. After much testing, the app works on iPad but only in portrait mode. If the app is started in landscape mode, the app refreshes repeatedly and then crashes. If the app is started in portrait mode, app works fine. If we then rotate to landscape mode, refresh the browser, the app crashes. This occurs with the Safari and Chrome browsers. Of course, the app looks better and is easier to use in landscape mode. I do have a custom basemap I created for the reference layer. I have now replaced it with an Esri basemap and am testing now. Thanks, Jay

Please define the 'search tolerance' function (what is it, what does it do, units, etc.) in the configuration panel. Also, why are the feature services ordered opposite in the app as opposed to the web map Table of Contents? Is there a way to arrange the services in the list? Thanks!

Hi Patrick, did you receive answers to your questions? I have the same/similar questions. We run a python script from a linux box that is going away. We want to move the script to a Windows server and use the task scheduler, but are unsure if we need to install a licensed version of Pro or ArcMap on the server.

I have a rental permit dataset. In retrieving the data through an SQL spatial view I calculate the number of days until the permit will expire or has expired. Positive values indicate days until the permit expires. Negative values are the number of days since the permit expired. I would like to use a pie chart to show the number and percent of expired permits that are 30, 60, 90, and 180+ days past their expiration date. Is this possible? I have tried several combinations of filters, slice configurations, etc. with no luck. Thanks in advance.

Hello GeoNet community. I have a script where I am pulling data from a vendor's database through their API and populating a CSV file. Is there a way to pass these data into an existing feature service hosted on ArcGIS Online, so the results of the query are displayed in a web ArcGIS application? The CSV file would be updated every minute. Thanks in advance.
