Hi Simon, I have to say, while I see the utility of adding an animation of the problem, it makes it really hard to examine your model and understand how it is constructed! Posting a static picture of the full model would probably be helpful. I got kind of dizzy staring at it! Anyway, one way I have made iterators work better in modelbuilder, is to make submodels out of them, and then add that in to your main model. It's worth a try. Especially if you're getting it to work fine without the iterator.

I'm curious how the higher resolution dataset was created, if the resolution is set by the version of ArcMap that was used to create it.

So just to clarify, you already ran through all these steps and it worked, and that work still exists and is successfully georectified? Is that correct? If so, can you use the previously georectified image to georeference this one to?

Well the only functions listed there that concern extent changes are connected to data driven pages. Which one are you trying to use?

Also, did you follow these instruction: The MrSid Image Support Extension must be loaded from the extensions menu first. When adding the orthoimagery as a theme, the "Data Source Type" should be Image Data Source, not Feature Data Source. View the orthoimagery by selecting and opening *.sid or *.jp2 file. Vector data layers can be added by opening associated files, vector data layers can be re-projected if they are not in the same projection as the orthoimagery (raster) files. Make sure the "Data Source Type" is Feature Data Source when adding the vector files.

I think you could also add an analysis field, that you calculate to be a unique integer for each "group" of buildings between separating streets.

What about treating the buildings as separate data sets, by manually selecting all the buildings in each separate area? Since there are only two streets.

Hi Matt, try the AddGeometryAttributes tool. It has the ability to calculate line start/end M values. It's in the Data Management toolbox.

Can you use the network dataset as an input instead? The help file says that this can by used by Select Data, and then use Make Feature Layer, before Copy Features.

Great! You're making progress So, you can add a definition query to your precinct layers to show only those precincts you want. Right-click the layer in the table of contents and click Properties. Click the Definition Query tab on the Layer Properties dialog box. Click the Query Builder button. Build a query expression. In your case, this will be something like: "Field name containing attributes that define the precincts you want" in (list, of, attributes, separated, by, commas) The query builder makes it easy because you can just double click the field you want from the list, and then get the unique attribute list and double click the values that you want to have in the list. The "in" statement makes it a list of values. This should limit the display of the layer to just those precincts you choose. Here is the help file on definition queries, if you need more detail: ArcGIS Help 10.1

Well, how would YOU like to display the information? As labels with numbers? As a color gradient with a legend key? Different sized symbols to represent smaller or larger numbers? Maybe google some examples if you're not sure. Once you decide, I can help you get it done.
