This process listed below is not working. I tried this by selecting a row or a cell and neither works. It worked in ArcGIS for Office. Is there a setting I am missing? In your Excel spreadsheet, locate the row that contains the feature you want to see on the map. Right-click the row to display a context menu. Click Go to location. The map zooms in and displays the feature in the center of the map. Please see attachment. Thanks.

When creating a map in ArcGIS for Excel the pop up shows the correct date (short date). When shared as hosted feature service in ArcGIS online, the date in the pop up is converted to a number. This did not happen in ArcGIS for Office. Any idea why this is happening now? Is there an easy fix to this? Is there some setting I am missing? Is it a bug? Using Microsoft 365, ArcGIS for Excel See attachment for example. Revision 9/28: I just added an attachment of an example of pop-up from map in ArcGIS online. There are 2 different date fields, one comes in as text string and one comes correctly as a date field. The cells in excel are the same - set to date format. Thanks, Elizabeth

Hi, I noticed that the checkboxes are now enhanced on reports, which is great - they standout, but now they are larger than the unchecked boxes. This is not good as there could be many boxes checked on one report, thus making the report run into more than 1 page. I also have some involved reports other than this one that need to be on a single page. They were difficult to format, but I got them to work and look so great on 1 page. Now they are jumbled up because of the checkbox size. In my attached example, many/multiple type of problem/cause/action in each section on one report could be checked. Is there an easy way to size these boxes or just revert back to making them a standard black and white checkbox as they were before? I have too many multiple choice options to create if statements for each one, as I saw in another post and not sure if that would even work in my cases. I will post as an enhancement/idea as well. Thanks, Elizabeth

I am trying to create a report that will put the repeats in a table row by row (this works fine), but then I want to place the pictures that are taken within the repeats at the end of the table. I think I am following the syntax examples correctly. When I try to load the report template with the photos portion, it gives me an error ‘Failed to parse ${photos} since field name or parameter photos cannot be found in the current parsing scope’. When I do it without the photos portion, it works fine. Probably a syntax problem but I cannot figure it out. I have attached some screen shots and the xlsx form and report template. Using Connect 3.10.323 Thanks, Elizabeth

How can I write code to make a field attribute from one service/feature to show up in a pop-up of another service/feature that is in the same map in ArcGIS online? I am not a developer and have tried to follow some videos and tutorials, but all seems too advanced for me. No intersects/geometry involved, just using services/fields that have a relationship. This data is being collected in Survey123. My scenario: I would like the field attribute "Day of Work" that is in Line Clearance Contractor-Daily Trimming Report to show up in the pop-up of the repeat location service. I am creating a dashboard using this information and having it in one spot would be so very helpful. Thanks, Elizabeth

It would be very helpful if there could be more choices for color ramps in ArcGIS Online as there are in ArcMap. Color ramps in ArcGIS Online are a more monochromatic range, whereas in ArcMap, there is more of a range of different colors (i.e. green to yellow to red & orange to red to blue). This would bring more definition to symbolized areas and make them stand out more. If there could be other various color ramp options, that would be nice as well. Please see attached pdf document for details. Thank you. Elizabeth

Thanks for the quick reply, Philip. I finally got it to work following your example and some trial and error. It was a bit challenging for me because I had groups in the survey as well. Elizabeth

We have a situation where we have multiple trees being trimmed at one location. We want to have one survey per day, to have multiple locations. Each location will have multiple tree info. So the location should be a repeat for the day and each location should have 1 or more repeats for tree info associated with it. Survey Date 10-27-20 101 First St Pine Alder 103 First St Oak Maple How would we set that up? We would like to know how to set up a nested repeat to match the above example. Thanks, Elizabeth

I have a geopoint question within a repeat. After the survey is submitted and looking at the entries in the Survey123 data results, there are 2 geopoints on the map for the location instead of just one. There is only 1 entry (no repeats done). I have another survey with similar scenario (many repeats), but is correct...only has one geopoint per repeat/location. I don't know if it is what the user may be doing or way the survey is set up. I authored the survey in connect version 3.9.120. thanks, Elizabeth

Hi Gia, This is used in grid theme style and you set column width in the appearance column. The W12, W7, etc. represents number of columns (side by side) for a group of questions. It is handy when completing a survey on a tablet as it saves room and saves on scrolling down a long survey. Here is a link to esri webpage with a good explanation on groups, grids, and pages: https://community.esri.com/groups/survey123/blog/2019/11/20/survey123-tricks-of-the-trade-groups-grids-and-pages Hope this helps! Followed the above steps and both show Daniel in both the main feature and stakeholder tables in webmap viewer. So it seems there is a data sync issue. I will reach out to esri support. Thanks very much. Elizabeth

Hi Shwu-jing, I followed the technical article you sentstep-by-step . I am still having the same problem. The feature service is hosted on AGOL. I am using the survey123 field app to enter responses for the survey I deleted the survey from my device and downloaded it again after republishing it, etc. I created a new dashboard with the stakeholder view but when I start creating a list or another widget, the layer does not indicate that it is the stakeholder view. It seems to be stuck on the main feature layer I have attached a couple of pics for you to reference. Thanks
